I'm a Chrysler fan and always will be but I hope this thing does not make it to production in its current state. It looks decent and all but based on what I've read about it the base engine is a HEMI V8. The last thing we need from Chrysler is another large car (it would be bigger than the 300) that gets 22 mpg or some ungodly low number. They need to take the money they are using to create this car and put it towards designing successful small cars and engines.

@TitanSubZero15 Well, the mpg also depends on aerodynamics and overall weight. Honestly, if Chrysler wants to survive they need small fuel efficient cars. The government is requiring a certain fuel economy average for all automakers in the U.S., and considering majority of their sales are large vehicles and light trucks, their future isn't looking so good.

After spending over 20 YEARS building and marketing the IMPERIAL as a SEPARATE MAKE and DIVISION, the Mopar guys do a really stupid FLIP FLOP, and make it a Chrysler again. BAD MOVE . IMPERIAL was ALWAYS BIGGER, MORE POWERFUL, and WAY more LUXURIOUS than a garden-variety Chrysler. Chrysler's market rivals were BUICK and MERCURY. IMPERIALS' rivals were CADILLAC and LINCOLN. The IMPERIAL should be returned to it's status as a separate premium make ...above and apart from Chrysler.

Sorry to get in the conversation but, if you look at the chrysler imperials from the 50's and 60's, the head light design came from the imperials from the mid and late 60's and all the other decades they mixed together to make it different from it's 300 counterpart.

Looks like a Chrysler 300. They should give it headlight covers and a more stocky frame, also not round the front so much then it would look like the older models.

@TheReformed1 I totally AGREE . IMPERIAL was a SEPARATE MAKE (not a Chrysler) actually from 1955 thru 1983 . None of there cars were Chryslers...they were IMPERIALS, plain and simple. during those years IMPERIAL was a separate division of Chrysler Corp. and DID NOT bear the Chrysler name.

They should have KEPT IT THAT WAY.

Apart from that, this car really only has appeal to Americans. It's far to bulky and 'American looking' for European tastes.

Under those circumstances Chrysler would be well advised to scrap this design and produce something with a more international audience appeal.
