How tall is Billy? He is such an ominous figure on stage. You can tell this is HIS band. One of the most innovative and powerful front men for a band ever?

SP are just so awesome in small gigs. Technically perfect or close to it, and the energy radiating and infecting the audience yielding even more energy back...you gotta love Billy! Genius, to tap into the raw energy with songs like these. Raaawhr!
Billy Corgan is the master of harmonics- who else can do them that well?
I saw them live on saturday, but all the standing tickets were sold out so we ended up getting seats which were so far back that we could barely make out the band. But they announced that Ginger got engaged before the show!!!
Oh and Jimmy Chamberlin is probably one of the best drummers I've ever heard, next to Bonham
Lars Ulrich is overrated. Did he just discover what banging on a trash can is when St. Anger was made?
I've heard all of the drummers you listed, and only Bonham is one you could consider better all around. Drummers that are technically more skilled in other aspects is a different argument; what makes Jimmy rock is not only his awesome drumming skill, but how he SOUNDS. He has a very unique drum sound that I haven't heard out of any other drummer.
that stage was too fucking low, i was neither the back, and i'm 6 ft and i could still hardly see, the sound sucked too. SHIT venue, i hope it burns down
I doubt it that he's political, even he said he isn't. "Revolution" that he sings about isn't a call to arms revolution, western kind of revolution, but an inner revolution of sorts :)
dude, those ARE anarchy signs! SWEET look closer, if they had a circle around them they would be perfect. but the square of blue makes up for the circle!

The new Smashing Pumpkins is pretty cool, but man, I miss Jimmy Chamberlin. He really did bring SO SO much to the band.

@drumhead95 Damn shame he left. This song is Jimmy's highlight reel. Guess it's only a five year wait for the Rock hall of fame reunion

I'm sorry, but the other people besides Corgan and Chaberlain just don't fit the Pumpkin mold.

I defy anyone to watch this and name any other drummer who could ever do this, past or present. UNPARALLELED.
kgrevis 4 years ago
Well, it's damn good and impressive but....
John Bonham of Zeppelin
Martin Lopez (formally) of Opeth (actually ANY of their drummers, past and present)
Danny Carey of Tool
Lars Ulrich of Metallica
Joey Jordison of Slipknot
could do what Jimmy's doin here. Nevertheless, still quite a great song...

HAHAHAHA yeahh. the drums on St. Anger was bad, which is very disaapointing.

Good song and such, but still....
Danny Carey of Tool
Martin Lopez (formally) of Opeth
Lars Ulrich of Metallica
Joey Jordison of Slipknot
John Bonham of Zeppelin (R.I.P.)
could match, if not do better, than Jimmy's still impressive handling here....
