Eclipse 500 Test Flight

I was a janitor at eclipse aviation while i was going to barber college, i got to see this jet evolve, i like the way the prototype looked better, got to sit in it.

I wonder who was the absolute retard who shot this video. I mean you're looking out the front throughout the whole freaking video. You can see that taking off on any friggin' plane. What was the special point of making it about the Eclipse? Get it?

i sat in the cockpit of this plane and it was just perfect. then again... im 5'6 soo they pretty much kept me in mind when designing this jet. very cool video tho.

The cockpit is too small and badly designed and not enough place for you to put your legs. The best jet is the Diamond aircraft

My uncle helps to build these planes. He works for Avidyne and moved there to help work on it. I get all this cool stuff about the airplane, you know, pictures, articles, pamphlets and stuff.

Too bad Avidyne lost thier contract with Eclipse. My dad works for Innovative Solutions & Support, the company that replaced Avidyne in the avionics portion of the E500.

I haven't flown any jets with glass, but i've flown the Diamond DA-40 w Garmin G-1000 glass and the Cirrus with Avidyne glass & paperless cockpit and i preferred the avidyne by far. It was more user friendly although I think the artificial horizon on the G1000 is easier to make precise corrections with
