Yes, we lived in Mayalan and I made many flights to Flor Del Norte but not since I have left due to the accident. Now, the government has issued new rules that may prevent flights from ANY airstirp withing 5 miles of the Mexico Border. When we return to Guatemala, I will talk to the ministry to see if Flor Del Norte can be re-opened.
what accident? i knew there was an accident a very long time ago, I was probably 10 years old when an accident happened in Mayaland, i actualy saw when the aircraft crashed into the woods in a creek, i could not believe it! my Dad and many more peolpe went to see if everyone was ok, unfortunatly they were in a really bad situation injured. the only one not injured was the pilot, i dont know why but the pilot was walking around. and the aircraft didnt explote that was a really good thing.
am from Flor Del Norte, i know is hard to ride in a car on those roads, there was a landing space for aircrafts there, i wonder what happen, b cuz they dont land anymore over there!

am from Flor Del Norte, i know is hard to ride in a car on those roads, there was a landing space for aircrafts there, i wonder what happen, b cuz they dont land anymore over there!
