Have you tried shooting the light through a magnifying glass or similar? I would think you would create a new visual effect. Let me know if you try that. Very cool. Thanks for sharing.

iv got my 30 mW, and i can safely say it goes 1 mile (buildings i know to be 1 mile away)

i haven't had a chance to test further, but i know they are now selling 200 mW lasers on deal extreme.. they should be good
