I hope I'm not alone on this.... when I came across this, I'm all like ok man Mudvayne is the shit, but what the fuck is this 300 shit? This isn't arrogance or ignorance, It's just like what the fuck man ya know, what the fuck. But whatever ya know. I just think Mudvayne shouldn't be associated with this for some reason.

this is a great movie although it isn't correct king leonidas is said to have died early on in the peloponisian war (300) not in the end as the last soldier standing as it is depicted in this film

vote negatively if ya like but I agree w/ armedbronco, I dont think the music goes with the movie, for one the song is talking about internal conflict with ones self.... " in this hole that is me"  and the spartans dont have internal conflict they just want to own face and split skulls.....

blywhy2012, the song by mudvayne does relate to the conflict which the spartans face. They are defending themselves against a horde out numbering them while they have been bred for one thing to kill as warriors. But they are also human so they face the issues of feeling remorse and scared.

The constant question is "are you feeling happy now?" even after you "tear me from the bone" and do your worst does all that you gain make you happy? does it bring you joy?

Thank you for that elementary analogy. First off, you said the kid is "stealing" a cookie. If the kid knows he is stealing, and he is aware that stealing is wrong, then he is doing the wrong thing, even if he feels justified because he is hungry and needs to survive. If the parent has not educated the kid to be aware of his actions, then the parent has no grounds to be upset.
