This is so beautiful, the way he teaches, so tender and sweet and funny, almost made me cry. This is the way I should teach my 5 years old who has been 1 year with violin lessons.
he's a fantastic teacher and the main reason isn't that he's a great violinist. he has an even greater personality - he's so symathic and uneffected.
there are many many good violinists in the world, but verly less of them may be able to describe music in colours or characteristics and to make classical music reachable and understandable to 10 year olds, or adults, or any other people.
What an amazingly talented man..... I heard him perform the Beethoven Romances at Tangle wood and conduct the Symphonies 1 and 5. it was awe-inspiring to see the most amazing qualities of musicality, devotion, persistence, modesty, authenticity of character, and musicianship. I feel so grateful and lucky to have heard this concert and be alive in the same century as this Master.
Art is the greatest servant to the highest good in humanity and this man has REALLY contributed to that.
I am not a violist, or a musician but I am 21 year old student from Bulgaria(studying in England) and I hope Itzhak Perlman will come somewhere in Europe(hopefully London) so I can hear one of these beautiful pieces in live! I really hope I am going to have this opportunity.
Good health and long years for Itzhak Perlman and his family! The world is so fortunate to have such an exceptional violist!
@Sorcerer2k He is involving the audience, he is engaging the kids also, he is having fun, he is playing beautiful music, he is listening to and guiding the younger generation. Where is he not teaching? Maybe you cannot see the lesson. I see it.
where to buy the all series of the Perlman's violin class?

Incredible. I love the idea of trying characters or emotions to lend weight to how it may be played.
