  • where to buy the all series of the Perlman's violin class?

  • now off to practicing! haha

  • I'm 14 and I'm the concert master at my school orchestra:). It would be awesome to get tips from him, he's amazing!

  • NIce........

  • Once he's too old to be a violinist he can be a narrator. What a voice <3

  • @KuiackMusic He will ALWAYS be a violinist - and don't forget it!

  • @outoftunefiddler Agreed, this man is a legend!!!

  • osea, lo feliz es un scherzo.

  • wow the student is awesome

  • @jin12345678 Nahh

  • This is so beautiful, the way he teaches, so tender and sweet and funny, almost made me cry. This is the way I should teach my 5 years old who has been 1 year with violin lessons.

  • "THAT'S AS FUNNY AS I CAN GET."

WHAT A WONDERFUL HUY, BOW ON SIR!

  • Such an amazing person :3

  • he's a fantastic teacher and the main reason isn't that he's a great violinist. he has an even greater personality - he's so symathic and uneffected.

there are many many good violinists in the world, but verly less of them may be able to describe music in colours or characteristics and to make classical music reachable and understandable to 10 year olds, or adults, or any other people.

  • The voice over at 3:00 caught me by surprise and I laughed my ass off at the result.

  • What a great man. He simply treat his students like they were his own kids.

  • What an amazingly talented man..... I heard him perform the Beethoven Romances at Tangle wood and conduct the Symphonies 1 and 5. it was awe-inspiring to see the most amazing qualities of musicality, devotion, persistence, modesty, authenticity of character, and musicianship. I feel so grateful and lucky to have heard this concert and be alive in the same century as this Master.

Art is the greatest servant to the highest good in humanity and this man has REALLY contributed to that.

  • I shit myself for that girl who played in front of him!

  • Comment removed

  • I'd shit my pants if I'd have to play in front of Itzhak!! :D

  • really wonderfull the spirit of a genious!!! mozart was like he!!

  • It doesn't get much better than this: just like having God teaching you how to pray (no pun intended, of course, adn great respect to religion)

  • What language is he speaking besides English?

  • @alika207 Most likely Hebrew. :)

I am not a violist, or a musician but I am 21 year old student from Bulgaria(studying in England) and I hope Itzhak Perlman will come somewhere in Europe(hopefully London) so I can hear one of these beautiful pieces in live! I really hope I am going to have this opportunity.

Good health and long years for Itzhak Perlman and his family! The world is so fortunate to have such an exceptional violist!

  • he is soooooooooooooo funny!

  • he is soooooooooooooo funny!

  • Master of all Masters !

  • Excellent !!

  • This masterclass was for kids?!!

  • @82224561 YEEEEEESSSSSSSS

  • COOOL VIDEO.

  • wow those kids just saw Perlman in person, got lessons with him, and they even herad him playing? Not fair!

  • excelent violinist! just amazing!

  • My you are good theacher God bles.

  • how come I felt that he played it much sadder when people wanted him to play happier... XD

  • @Violnerd10 hhaa never realized it that way but makes senese!

  • @Violnerd10 I think they want heavier not happier :)

  • Incredible. I love the idea of trying characters or emotions to lend weight to how it may be played.

  • at 5:25 I wonder if he made fun of maxim vengerov :D cool stuff

  • @FFSray well if he dont, he accidentely make a good impression of him

  • @FFSray I thought the SAME THING!

  • Great violinist, no doubt, but this kind of demonstration ("funny", "heavy" etc.) sounds a bit retarded ... cannot help ...

  • @violinoamore Are you aware that he is explaining something to children?

  • @violinoamore Dude....it's a way of playing, and what CasaPortale already said; THEY ARE CHILDREN

  • in the end of the video (when he plays 'funny') he really looks like Vengerov...!

  • Graet teacher!

  • @nandiji TRUE!

  • thats not teaching its a one man show..!?

  • @Sorcerer2k He is involving the audience, he is engaging the kids also, he is having fun, he is playing beautiful music, he is listening to and guiding the younger generation. Where is he not teaching? Maybe you cannot see the lesson. I see it.

  • Brilliant!

This is the way to teach music!!

The first important is the kids love the music!!!

    Maesto Thank You!

  • Just wonderful!
