  • okay we already discussed this topic a lot but it also appeared in "saturday night fever" forthose who are interested ;)

  • LOL @ Moulin Rouge in the middle of the song.

  • This is absolutely retarded

  • @Swing40able You mis-spelled awesome.

  • @Swing40able Nope, it's just genius. :)

  • absolutely genius!

  • Imagine this being played instead of the original song at that certain level in LBP2 in Da Vinci's Hideout xD

  • ~holds up socks~ WHEN I GET YOU ALOOOO- Oh wait, wrong video, sorry.

  • so now glee is set out to ruin all of the classical songs too?

  • @Mathlete1000 This isn't Glee, it's Swingle Singers

  • 27 people only got a fourth of Beethoven.

  • whats the name of the second song ?

  • @qwert8278 stayin alive by the beegees

  • @DennisHou132

I can't put it better, really sad ...

First 12 episodes were just awesome but then ...

  • BADABADA! :D

  • till 1:00 this is actually the acapella version of Robin Thicke's "When I get you alone" the song Blaine performs in "Silly love songs" in the GAP-Store...

  • @aGleekinTwinPeaks It's actually from the original song (which is reused for the song you mention) A Fifth Of Beethoven by Walter Murphy and the Big Apple Band

  • @nicoshaw1 oh okay i didn't know that yet, thx...actually i heard another song today using this theme :D sry for being not informed perfectly ;)

  • @aGleekinTwinPeaks It's a terrible thing when people give credit to the no-talent guy that sings over music somebody else wrote... like thinking Vanilla Ice wrote "Under Pressure" or Jessica Simpson wrote Jack and Diane or Jay Z wrote Kashmir....

  • @mattlove1 i am sorry if i offended you but i really thought it was from that song...BUT of course i knew it was beethove just thought it was used as acapella background and didn't know about "walter murphy and the big apple"...and i totally agree with the second part of your post...especially if the new version just sucks ;)

  • glee is sheet

  • Our Rondalla based our 5th of Beethoven from this version. Makes me dance everytime we play it. :D

  • @joluciodasilva Really? Then you really are one remarkable group! Sorry to doubt you :-)

  • Their voices are so enhanced - the bass of the singer's voice is way too boomy to be just voice, and the drums have to much kick to be original.

  • @mihighrox Actually, there is hardly any post production on this at all... Our bass Tobi just has real depth and warmth to his voice and the beatboxer (Shlomo) is a world champion beatboxer...

  • @joluciodasilva

Do you have a vid of your bass singing alone? I really want to hear someone with that much low end in his voice.

  • @joluciodasilva your beatboxer's name is Shlomo? Really? Shlomo....does he like crabcakes?

  • what a great way to ask someone out in a clothes store eh?

  • My uncle played drums in the original version of this song. Greg Westhoff: look him up. He makes music for family guy :D

  • @upoverthere47 cool

  • i wish these glee songs played during passing periods at my high school. it fits the environment. especially this beethovens fifth.

  • dang my fav song being sung.

  • I was like OMG when i re-watched the pilot...OMG...I was like: yeaaaah OMG Blaineee!

  • DOWNLOAD LINK PLEASE!!!!!!!

  • This sounds like When I Get you Alone by the Warblers

  • @iiJkRii1 Haha yeah!

  • I thought this was When I Get You Alone first O.O

  • I kind of half expected the Dalton Academy Warblers to join in half way through haha!

  • This sounds like Robin Thicke's "When I Get You Alone". I think there should be a mash-up between this and Blaine's version of the song. lol :)

  • @doubleDdog09 The Warblers aren't EXACTLY a capella, are they??

  • When you get me alone starts with this...

  • Youtube Suggestions brought me here

  • Mystery Men brought me here..

  • A LA BESTIA!°!! :D

  • GOOD,very good,I liked it,is very funny!!!

  • I always think of Emma when I year this :)

  • Robin Thicke sampled it to make his song.

  • I was re-watching the Pilot a few weeks ago for nostalgia, and I heard this and went O_O!!!!!

I was so confused, because all I can think of is the Warbler's GAP Attack... ^_^

  • I really liked the background sound from the swingle sisters, i don't know why they took it off the show after some episodes.

  • @manadar It's Swingle SINGERS :-)

  • @joluciodasilva

    so true :)

  • @manadar Because they wanted to attract more fans and fan girls were attracted. But in order to skyrocket the viewers, they used other songs that are much more 'pop' and 'modern'.

and this pisses a lot of adult and pre-adult viewers off.

  • @DennisHou132

Well it pisses me off, so i guess i am an adult, hurray!

In the same manner they took out the swingle sisters as background they also stopped doing new versions/interpretations of old and new songs instead now 90% of the new episodes just feature current pop song 100% accurate covers, no own touch whatsoever

  • @manadar Because 1. The fan girls wanted it. (They will only listen to current Top 40 Hit Songs which are over-produced and repetitive)

    2. Making these songs earns money. Glee is a total cash cow in FOX's eyes. (They did some cover of old songs in season three and they didn't sell as good as those Top 40 Hit Covers)

by the way their covers sucks now. I love their own rendition which makes the old, classic songs to be more fresh and new. Now they just sing it, again.

  • @manadar Swingle SINGERS :-) Not Sisters.

  • @joluciodasilva right you are

  • Now every time I hear this I wanna go "baby girl where you at..." XD

  • @CourtneyEWashington ME TOO XD

  • ..And this was all done by the power of the human voice.

  • Badabahdaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh.

  • What's their version of this with actual lyrics?

  • @ItsVince72592 they're is no lyrics!!!! I't Beethoven!!!!

  • @StarryKeys No, it was a song using this as background music but with actual lyrics...

It was from the same episode with the wheelchair kid singing Pretty Young Thing by Michael Jackson.

  • @ItsVince72592 With Darren singing at the GAP store?

That was actually a cover of a Robin Thicke song called ,"When I Get You Alone".

    Look that up :)

  • XD

  • Good song, but I prefer the original. watch?v=hLUiNAdP-v4

  • beethoven, bee geees (stayin' alive), and moulin rouge theme in one track - AMAZING!

  • When I Get You Alone... ;D

  • LOL when I hear this i can still see Emma step into that peace of big pink gum... xD

  • @xxlin2 ditto

  • oooooh yeah!

  • Nice.

  • beethoven singin and beatboxin with a mix of the bee gees

  • dope

  • Never seen the show. Did the Swingle Singers themselves appear on the show?

  • on my music exam! oh yeah

  • Only one person is not part of the Swingle Singers.

  • Only 1 disliked this.

    Screw that person.

  • DAMN this is AWESOME!

  • LOVE IT

  • Saw them perform live yesterday at the Vintage @ Goodwood festival. This is even better live!

  • haha i love glee its kinda of like beat boxing hahaha funny

  • THIS IS SO FLLY!!! do it.

  • they played this in the scene when emma stepped in gum lol in like the first episode!!!! i love glee

  • This shit rocks.

  • This is my favorite to do in the show :) Thanks Tobi for such a great arrangement!

  • This is AMAZING!!!!!

  • Had to do this for my music house exam!! Have been looking for ever for it! Thank you so much!

  • I had no idea this was the Swingle Singers!!! How cool!
