Perhaps the more rads the weaker the bang? on Saints Row 2 if you do the super explosion cheat, vehicles and pedestrian's tend not to get hurt. Perhaps its a similar glitch?

I find it hard to get my head around how USELESS the DLC perks are... not ONE decent one at all .. in any way shape or form...

Rad Absorbtion is too slow to be worth anything.. 'Almost perfect' is a game-wrecker... is a shame.

And if you look at some of the Fallout PC mods they are amazing but NONE are available on the console version GRRRR!!!!!! :-P

Winterized t-51b power armor from OP. Ancorage dlc does not degrade and stays at 100% forever. Found 1 other item that did that. Sort of. The shady hat. Had it equipped from like lev. 15 or something and never went down. Now I'm 30 and it suddky went down to like 75 in half an hour. Hasn't moved in a week. Weird glitch lol.

t51b degrades and isnt the best armor just because it has 50 dr the enclave hellfire armor has the same dr at when fully repaired and the main reason why t51b isnt the best is because it canot be fully repaired once worn out.

i think the nuclear anomoly was just put in for a what the fuck factor. i dont think they wanted it to have any specific power to it, it was just a reward to players who hit level 30 and like explosions. i can see it be used in machinimas on the pc and what not. but other than that, its like you said, not that great

I can think of one good reason, in Operation Anchorage at the beginning you end up getting badly hurt and can't heal, so blowing up and hitting some chinese is better than dying and having to reload to get out, so I guess that'd be a semi-good usage, and also it brought your rads to zero (5 or so with the momentary increased radiation).

I now a usefull way to use it, if you have a lot of perks that reduce damege like the cyborg and nerd rage your health should drop slow enought to triger it, but the big deal is tha it raises your health soo about 70% of the time my health gets low this perk saves me

The Nuclear Anamoly perk DOES need a lot of tweaking (blast radius for one), but like you said earlier, it's sort of depressing. The healing part IS cool, though. Did you notice you lost ALL your rads except for the little you gained post-blast? Overall, it's anti-climatic, especially for a stinkin' NUKE.

Yea, i found out it basically sucked after I put it on the first time. I always play on very hard, and it does nothing to anyone. My favorite perks are Grim Reapers Sprint (obviously) and animal friend. Animal friend mainly because of the convenience of not being attacked by everyother animal in the wasteland.

The perk depends on your Damage Resistance. If you have the right set up it is useful. It's more of a failsafe then a weapon, for example, if your getting attacked alot and your about to die you might fall on the health requirement and boom you get health and blow up those around you.

i transfered certain mods off the pc to the 360 to make the blast range larger and so that it doesnt deplete your rads (cause i like radiation) and so that it goes off even when your health gets below 20. but i still wouldnt recomend it because if your next to a car or something youll wind up blowing yourself up.

The perk's flaw is that you must have 20% health when it happens. So if you go after a overlord that has a tri-beam rifle witch dose big damage to you when you get close to dying(at least 4 bars of health left) and it doesnt go off thats because he killed you with such a strong gun it wiped your health away and the anomaly had time to fire!

This perk is only somewhat useful to a melee or unarmed focused character. You should have Toughness Perk, Barkskin Perk, Cyborg Perk to maximize the possibility of this being useful.

When I first read about it, I thought it was neat. However, I took in the fact at level 30, if you fall around 15 HP, you're ass is grass on a higher difficulty, and the perk won't really change much except in a few luck situations.
