Moving on from the tard responses... There's a lot that he will have to work on if he's to make sense of how to use his height... namely, bulking up and developing his core because he has a real lanky look about him. The right people and the right facilities... that can be corrected. After his core is developed... then, the sky's the limit if he want to develop a down-low presence... which... being honest... is pretty much what it'll have to be. Being that size in bball... you'll be hit a lot.

Yup...Thon has crazy amount of skill for a kid his age, and they are both Senegalese...which is why I make the comparison. This kids has potential, but I've only seen limited amount of video of him, but he doesn't look slow and poddling...he just needs conditioning and training, and he's going to be a top flight prospect for hte NBA.
He looks slow and uncoordinated. Just being tall wont cut it in the NBA. You have to be fast, coordinated, and athletic. Right now he can just catch the ball and lay it in or stand there and block someones shot. Against NBA players, he won't be able to do that. He's only 16 or 17 so he has some time to get better.
I'm not trying to be offensive, but his height is almost...disturbing. It's really not healthy to be a giant, that's a fact. I don't know if his current height is a problem, but if he grows anymore...well, I don't know if it'll turn out well for him. Best of luck to him, his health and his carrier though. Yup...Thon has crazy amount of skill for a kid his age, and they are both Senegalese...which is why I make the comparison. This kids has potential, but I've only seen limited amount of video of him, but he doesn't look slow and poddling...he just needs conditioning and training, and he's going to be a top flight prospect for hte NBA.

He looks slow and uncoordinated. Just being tall wont cut it in the NBA. You have to be fast, coordinated, and athletic. Right now he can just catch the ball and lay it in or stand there and block someones shot. Against NBA players, he won't be able to do that. He's only 16 or 17 so he has some time to get better.

I'm not trying to be offensive, but his height is almost...disturbing. It's really not healthy to be a giant, that's a fact. I don't know if his current height is a problem, but if he grows anymore...well, I don't know if it'll turn out well for him. Best of luck to him, his health and his carrier though. Who knows, maybe he'll surprise me.

If this kid can work really hard on his skill sets he could be pretty good.
I dont know how old he is, but if he's like 17 hes got time to grow, the problem is I play with a few bigs that could double his speed and shoot out side. I wish him luck.
Education before NBA that way he will have something to fall back on. I dont see a straight to the pros performance, bout after 4 years its a chance he could go. Truth!

@VIL388 Seriously? In basketball, you can't teach tall. You teach this kid solid defense and a couple of post moves, hes a first round pick in the NBA, assuming his body doesn't fail him.
I don't think I would really display an amazing offensive game either when I could step over any player on the court.

@multibillionsspent Hes obviously soft because hes 7'5 and appears to have never been in a weight room. You get him in the gym, and he will be a player. Get him on a solid diet and in and out of the gym. When you're that tall if you're legs are not strong enough, they're going to have problems.
And why wouldn't the NBA need another Manute Bol? Aren't you aware of what he did off the court?

Seems to me that the NBA could use a lot more Manute Bols, considering damn near all NBA players a incredibly self centered and there is no longer any defense in the league.

@eiroight That's a scary thought. Shawn Bradley is 7 foot 6 (I think he's retired, not sure), but if this kid grows another two or three inches he could be in trouble. I think stamina becomes an issue but things can get even worse. Hopefully he'll make it to the NBA.

the tall one doesn't run or anything. he just stands there, waits to catch a ball over someone's head than raises his arm a couple inches to put it in the basket. he COULD be a great pro but right now he's just a tall attraction.
