Is the background scene a 2D image? If so, can you share some overview of the process of how you managed to import the 3D biped in the scene in AE and place it over the 2D image?

you put the floor with a special material call "matte/shadows"

he couldve just rendered the person and the shadow, andthen input the background in after effects or sony vegas
