  • before america entered the war i heard that germany and austria and ottoman were winning and owned all the eastern europe? any truth to that? it sounds like it makes sense seeing as how russia surrendered and had revolution after?

  • @Smock24 I think so, though I'm not entirely sure. Certainly the Allies had lost on the Eastern Front, but I'm not sure how much territory was taken from Russia. I've seen a map before with huge amounts of land ceded to Germany, but I don't know whether that was just a plan or whether it actually happened for about a year before Germany's defeat.

  • @mervuemeringue

i googled "battle of inverness". There wasn't anything about a battle at the british islands during the wwii or wwi.

  • @isydor97 hes being sarcastic

  • germany never invaded england and in part 5 france never invaded england WERE HAVE U GOT YOUR FACTS FROM

  • @GordieMacumAndOther Wrong. They did, and it has been historically documented everywhere you look. YOUR facts are wrong! Don't you remember Napoleon storming across the Enlish countryside, and the Kaiser eating Christmas Dinner in Westminster?

  • @MervueMeringue the last battle fought on british soil was in the 1700s between scotish rebels and the british troops so how could napoleon invade in the early 1800s and germany invade in ww1 so plz get your facts right and i sould know being from england how does it fell knowing that a 12 year old knows more than u

  • @GordieMacumAndOther No it wasn't, it was the battle of Inverness in 1943, where the British army valiantly defeated the Nazi invaders. I should know, being from Scotland.

  • Comment removed

  • @GordieMacumAndOther Sorry, I stand corrected. It was the battle of Inverness 1983, and Communist forces were defeated.

  • it's funny, BUT

    1. italy never was allied with germany in the WWI.

    2. german troops never landet in england (3:53)

  • @isydor97 Keep telling yourself that.

  • why was the baltic just called lithuania? There are 3 countries there.

  • @freakyDJ901 Space.

  • germany never took over parts of england

  • @queenpaes06 That was to simulate the battle of Britain. And to please the nazis on youtube, though strangely there don't appear to be any.

  • @queenpaes06 Oops, wrong war. Though there were still bombings in WW1.

  • Also World war 1 started a bit wrong in this, an Serbian terrorist assasinated the Austrain Crown prince or something so Austria declared war to take "revenge" and it dragged in Russia, Germany etc

  • @MrJohanBorg Difficult to show on a map...

  • Also, Germany beat France in that first war, and it was France that was vengeful

  • i think xandarmax is right, by the way this video is funny :D

  • since when did germany get control of london?

  • I love the way that Belgium said *sigh* while in real life they said no and fought until the last man standing!

  • @stroboticjr Not much space to show it

  • I loved these videos! History is really interesting, so thanks for making these :D

  • italy didn't switch side in WW1, what are these bullshit on italy attacking france in ww1? lol

  • @XandarMax italy did change sides you idiot.

  • @FinMilkku italy joined the war in 1915 with the entente and never changed side, pick a history book dumbass

  • @XandarMax they were on germanys side at the beginning. they didn't go into the war, but they were on the side of the axis, and supported them. but after seeing that the axis will lose they changed their side, and went with the allies. idiot.

  • @FinMilkku

1 austria already violated the pact before the war annecting bosnia-herzegovina

    2 austria held italian land

3 italy did not support the central powers, in any way

4 the triple allience (the axis? hahahaha) was a defensive pact, since austria declared war on serbia italy could easily exit the alliance,

5 they joined the war in 1915, note the '17 or smthing, when nobody could predict the victory of the entente

come on pick this book ignorant

  • @XandarMax first, yes i know the germans/ Austrians weren't called 'axis'. i just couldn't remember their name. and second, my fucking school book, and history teacher ( who btw knows A LOT of history ) said that Italy supported germany and austro-hungary in the beginnig of the war. so stfu idiot.

  • @FinMilkku yeah she has told u that santa claus doesn't exists?

come on child, grow up, i've written FACTS, now u have to explain in wich consist this "support"

    this is very entertaining

  • @XandarMax Who the fuck do you think you are? First of all its HE, and HE has been teaching History for a very long time. And WOW. i mean your so mature and tough, when calling me a child and telling me to grow up. You didn't give me any facts. When My School book, My History Teacher, Wikipedia, ALL say that Italy was in the beginning on Germanys side. so just stfu.

  • @FinMilkku repeating the same bullshit doesn't make that true, so, yes, grow up kid and learn some real history, greetings

  • @XandarMax lol what a fucking moron you are. i just gave you three sources which tell that Italy was on the same side with Germans and Austrians in the beginning. you have gave me ZERO. Why don't you give me ONE source that says Italy was on with UK and France FROM THE BEGINNING. Maybe then ( MAYBE ) i could somehow believe you. if you do not find any sources, than just don't bother you respond anymore. your fucking pathetic btw...

  • @FinMilkku @FinMilkku Come on the dude is right, i'm from italy and this is common knowledge here, italy was neutral in the beginning of war, even the german were pissed at the austrian behaviour, but they had their own imperial aims and joined the war with the austrians.

just read the wikipedia page on ww1 or this one from the italian wikipedia page that focus only on that year of neutrality

  • @johnpetrucci84 can't post the link, read with google translate, the name of the articol is Neutralità italiana (1914-1915)

  • @johnpetrucci84 So your saying that My History teacher, History school book, and Wikipedia are lying? all of these say that Italy had a pact with Germany and Austria. but then Italy left the pact later and fought against them

  • @FinMilkku this is correct italy had a pact with germany and austria, from 1882 to 1914, but the nature of the pact was to defend each other from foreign aggressions, since austria declared war on serbia italy could easily break the alliance, the pact himself allowed this.

But the fact is that in this video there is a conquest of french territories by italy, wich is funny. The aggression of france by italy appened in ww2 and italy conquered only few km.

  • @johnpetrucci84 yes i never said Italy went to battle. i only said that Italy was supporting The central powers in the beginning.

  • @FinMilkku ok but italy was already out of the alliance when the war began, more precisely at the moment of the ultimatum by austria italy quitted, and then started the war, so at beginning of the war was neutral, yes it's a matter of few days but italy was alrealdy out.

However think on this, at the time italy was a democracy, a Constitutional monarchy like UK, they would never support a war of aggression, the pact does not allow this, the people of italy were liberals and had symphathy for fre

  • @johnpetrucci84 oh. cause i remember that Italy was an allie of Austria when the war began, and left the pact only after the war began.

  • @FinMilkku np these are particulars, the important is that italy won that war xD the major mistake is in the video ^^

  • @johnpetrucci84 btw i love your country dude :D. i just came back from Rome like a week ago, and i had the time of my life there :D

  • @FinMilkku good :), come back in future and visit Florence and Venice bye from Apulia(south est) :D

  • @johnpetrucci84 i surely will :) greetings from Klaukkala ( near Helsinki ) :)

  • Germany won the war between it and France, it didn't loose it. Germany unified in that war.

  • History with an added touch. Excellent work :D

  • I really enjoy these videos, but Turkey was formed after the allies took over the former Ottoman Empire.

  • @traindude80 That's basically what happened here, was it not? Surely the allies never occupied all of The Ottoman Empire!

  • @MervueMeringue The Allies divided Anatolia amongst themselves and left the Ottomans with a small piece of land around Ankara. Then the Ottomans changed from empire to republic and fought back and regained the land. Just pointing it out but overall still a great video.

  • I truly enjoy this...i cant say I dont, it is soooo good

  • @irulandina Thank you!

  • that map doesn't show the realistic warfronts and these comments on the left side are stupid

  • @xistion I'll answer your complaints in reverse order: they're supposed to be, and I know, I hadn't researched it enough, I plan on making an updated video sometime.

  • @MervueMeringue ok. you said we could critizice this video because in this one you DID do research and thought it. IS THERE ANY VID I CAN CRITIZICE PLEASE!!

  • @1111hola Oh, I did, didn't I? Well, criticism annoys me less here than in the other! That's probably as good as it'll get.

  • @MervueMeringue oh thats great! unluckily now I havent got the time but expect my trolling comments by tomorrow at noon =)

  • @MervueMeringue

    ok, lets begin this:

    1. the war at 1:00 would be the french prussian war right? Wasnt it that germany had won it?

    2. the war with morocco is totally messed up.

    3. the taking of israel was during WW1, not before it

    4. wtf did you do in the balkans?!?

    5. so... germany lost east prussia before declaring war on france?

    6. invasion of britain? portugal joining the war?

    7. where is the german taking of estonia and ukraine?

    8. 3:22 yeah, the allies are always the good ones.

  • @1111hola in 8 i meant that the germans were the ones triying for peace, not the allies.

oh and in 5 germany never lost east prussia in the war with russia

  • @1111hola Oops, sorry, I missed out 7. Yeah, same as 5. Were they? In History we didn't really cover much of the politics other than how it began and how it ended. Though I do know that Britain wouldn't have tried for peace either, but Germany's foreign policy was quite aggressive also, surely?

  • @MervueMeringue that actually was the Prussians, the Germans tried to soften them. but remember that during the stalemate in the western front Germany tried peace quite a few times, but Britain wouldnt accept it. anyways they were both very agressive.

  • @1111hola This'll be fun!

    1. No, that's an imaginary war. The Prussian war's in the previous part.

    2. Yeah.......

    3. Well. Nyeh.

    4. It's no more confusing than the reality!

    5. The eastern front is the one thing I regret about this video. I got it so wrong, and it annoys me so much.

    6. Yep. Yep.

    7. Well, being British, I'm a bit biased... (though I've noticed that Britain has been a bit too nice in my videos, so this will be rectified in a future one!).

  • @MervueMeringue wow... that was one fast reply;

    1. wtf...

    2. I mean that the war in morocco was first fought between spain and m., then the second one s.&m. once again and the THIRD one was between morocco, france and spain... so its kinda messed up.

    3. ? ok...lol

    4. lol, you're absolutelly right =D

    5. ha!

7.well, at least you recognized it.

  • @1111hola Ooh, I forgot to respond to your response to my response!

    1. Dramatic license.

    2. It is indeed.

    3. Nyeh nyeh!

    4. I am!

    5. :(

    6. Where is 6?

    7. Oh, I never answered your 7... The answer is it's missing.

    8. (answer to your 7) - I've also noticed how I make France automatically the 'bad guys' during the Napoleonic Wars, when really they were trying to spread liberty and democracy and such (until Napoleon went crazy with power, at any rate).

  • @MervueMeringue umm thanks lol but now I am totally messed up... So i will take your answer as good. Have a nice day!

  • @MervueMeringue oh and I forgot that the north-east Italy was under austria, not under italy

  • @1111hola Don't I have that? *checks*. Oh, no. I really have learnt lots since making this. A remake is looking more likely!

  • @MervueMeringue oh, I like the sound of that... hope to see it soon =)

btw stop repliying faster than me, it makes me look like a 5 years old... lol

  • @1111hola Sorry. Was that better?

  • @MervueMeringue haha see? you're being agressive now! >=D

  • GREAT MUSICK FROM PART 2 UNTIL 6 I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE THE USICK PLS

  • how did you make this ?

  • to me, in this video, germany looks like west virgina... nice vid

  • be good if you ha da timeline

  • Actually Germany was the one sending the peace offerings, not France and Britain. Austria even accepted too. France wanted revenge for their land losses after the Franco-Prussian war.

  • @TheSarenarass Were they? I know about Austria accepting (to Germany's dismay), but I thought Germany (or the Kaiser in particular) was extremely insistant that Germany would win the war.

  • @MervueMeringue Germany was insistant on winning, though they were collapsing on the inside. They sent several peace offerings that would end the war all together, but declare Germany as victor. Austria's peace offerings were just directly aimed at Austria-Hungary leaving, not all of the Central powers. Thats what angered the Germans :P That and the Austrians were taking some of the food shipments heading to Germany since they were running out of food..

  • @TheSarenarass Ah, yeah, that sounds more like this. Sorry if I'm being critical of the points, it's just we're doing this as school at the moment and I feel all super knowledgeable about it (I'm not).

  • @MervueMeringue Not trying to offend the video or anything! Just being constructive/attempting to be helpful.

  • @TheSarenarass Don't worry, I like criticisms if they're not insults. It's nice to learn stuff!

  • @MervueMeringue just wondering...from 2:40 and onwards what sound track did u use, the music totally struck 1 of my memory cords but i cant seem to remember... there are many verisons of "Gray's Theme" so if u can help me, that'll be really helpful =D

  • @J1N6666 That bit isn't Gray's Theme, it's from a game called Napoleon Total War. Gray's Theme starts at 3:39.

  • @MervueMeringue ahhhhh thx man, i totally remember nao =D

  • The desperation of the losing red side at the end of WWI, with the sad music... ;_; How bravely Germany fought...

  • @Vocaloidict And pointlessly.

  • very nice sums it up nicely ^^

  • I'm afraid you missunderstood at 1:16. Germany beat the crap out of France in the war of 1871, that's when Germany was formed. France didn't win, Germany did.

  • @Orca8472 Sorry, the 1871 war isn't the war shown at 1:16. That's a fictional war, to show the rivalries between Germany and France forming. The 1871 war happens at the end of Part 5 (Napoleon).

  • @MervueMeringue Oh. Well, in that case, my bad. :)

  • @Orca8472 Well, I shouldn't be going around adding in fake wars either!

  • Better, still amusing, but still not perfect, but I'm not going to go make fun of your work so in the end it was a great job

  • @ListWritingMachine Thanks. To make it perfect I think I'd need more than just paint and some history books, though.

  • cool vids I love learning about history by seeing a map

  • @Hellgrox101NT604comm Thanks! I wouldn't take this as a history lesson though, as it's not 100% accurate, but I hope you enjoy it nonetheless!

  • @MervueMeringue not 100% acurrate, you had germany landing in brittan lol

  • @MyNameIsRobert100000 It adds to the suspense!
