i kinda hope that this band stays a little under rated only so this type of music comes flowing out of them more and its keeps touching the hearts of their listeners, i still remember last summer when my friend introduced me to this band, it was 5am and we couldnt sleep and i was chatting with her and she tells me about them, since then ive been a huge fan and i hope to see them play a show if they ever come by maryland. heres to an amazing band and sound that only they play.

I don't think this song was written by anyone in the band. I think I remember Dan introducing this song live as "A song written by a friend of ours." Maybe it was written by a woman, which would explain the genders. Either way, it doesn't matter. ('phobes of all kinds are idiots--homo- or otherwise)

i kinda like augustana being low key. the radio slaughters every single song that comes on, i think augustana is to good for that. and plus, i like listening to songs that no one else knows of. :)

Their new album is supposed to come out in september i think. im practically dying of anticipation. And if you ask me, i like it better when a band is less known, so that way they keep doing it for the sake of music and not just for money. also, this is my favorite band of all time.

It really sucks that these guys just dropped off the face of the Earth after they released the Sweet and Low" music video. :( I LOVE this band and I hope they make another album. They are one of the most underrated now, it's funy how they were HUGE with "Boston", but now NOBODY really talks about them anymore. It sucks because they are awsome. By using a woman as the 1.st person narrator of this song he might want to show that this is not necessarily a story he went through on his own, but maybe a fortune of a friend of him or a random person out in this world. This way anyone can identify with the gist of the song.

I do believe that lyric does touch on a kind of angst and bitterness of loving someone who cannot love you back..."You can have your world of women, but you'll never have me"...It does appear to have a kind of enegmatic feel...It's a great song! Simplistic and very pure...
