Microvision's (MVIS) PicoP projector is 10X better and is headed to market. It is smaller, requires no focusing, is lower power and higher resolution. TI's Pico DLP is dead on arrival.
You're right, but which one becomes more popular will depend on price and who gets it to market first and on which devices. I personally see a lot more potential in Microvision's Color Eyewear.

Couldn't it be, that this is a fake?
I mean they could have easyly placed someone with a real projector behind the scrren. Why aren't the projecting on a wall or a screen near the wall like usuall?
I remember before Nintendo released any info about the Wii (revolution at the time) one of the popualr rumors was that it would have projection like this.
That's really cool. I can just imagine someone coming up with a way to integrate camera phones with projectors so you can have little portable video phones.
Cool! Another function that will break after I drop my phone once, out of the million tmeses daily!

I saw one of these on ebay. They are cheap and really cool. The only drawback is that they are not all that bright. The lady is good looking too.
