To Ragamuffin, thanks for the update on Jim playing with Russ and Larry. To Jad50, Birdman is Jim Yester's nickname. The Association never gets mentioned for playing the Monterey Pop Festival. The clip I saw of "Along Comes Mary" was great as was the audience reaction and comments from Steve Miller.
Who are these guys? Wasn't Jim Yester a member of the Association? Glad I came across this video. The sound quality wasn't that good, but thanks for posting it. Birdman?
Go Birdman! Where was this taken? I read somewhere where Jim is regularly playing with Russ and Larry in the current version of The Association. Any truth to this? Any chance of seeing Yesterdaze in the L.A. area?
From what I've heard, Jim appears with Russ, Larry and the guys when they play on the east coast. Unfortunately, they're not scheduled to do any more shows around here in the near future.
Jim is a current, touring member. The is a brand new website coming real soon, with all past and newest Association information. If you are a fan this will be a regular place to visit.
