it seems like when i try to put the snare drum in the middle of my legs, my bass drum foot gets in the way of the snare stand, should i angle the bass drum a little or somethin?

try different settings with the legs and pipes of the snare stand. it may be too close to your thigh. maybe scoot it to the left a bit. if youre right handed that is.

consider moving your snare to the left to where ur bass foot is on the pedal but ur hips are slightly tilted to the left thats what i do and i have no problems.
