Really, you think so? as a dancer, I am more interested in seeing the dancers dance, not the video camera dancing.... I get really annoyed when you buy (pay money for) a professional DVD, and it cuts off dancers' feet or head during jumps, or zooms into their face and lose them completely when they start running!

But it is pretty cool to see such intimate footage, with a view of people standing in the wings...

I like both. This camera work is more intimate, and I like the performers perspective as well. I like seeing the people that make the production happen. It's a separate story. Also, the close-up's on dancers let me see certain details. Good job I think. I understand and agree with you that this style wouldn't be appropriate for recording a production that would be sold on DVD though.
