booo, games that had no 8 bit, 16 bit, and even playstation 32 bit which is kinda pushing it, have no value when played in orchestra. They've already been scored orchestrally so it's not so surprising to see it done in the same fashion.
@ThunderStorm8 what I'm talking about is the scoring. anybody who's played old school games, knows how they sounded. They just never heard these songs done with real instruments. that's what I thought the appeal of an orchestra playing them in concert was all about. An orchestrated song played the same way it was concieved has less value because you're not left wondering how it would sound if one were to play it. I'm a fan of metal gear solid, but i pass over the concert video.

That's not true. It's equally amazing to watch a LIVE orchestra play the music, then to just listen to a recording.
