An agancy called me and showed some interest. The job's i'd like to get are mostly Editorial, Runway or Catalog. But i know i'm too short for those. I mean, i'm 16 whaist is 30, chest is 33, and hips are 35. I'm slim but my body is healthy and i have some muscles defined, but nothing too much. The problem is that i'm 5'5~5'6 and i don't wanna be used for a few product comercials and never be called again. Do you think i could get taller, or something like that? Thank you. PS: I'm a boy (?) @Misspinkkitteh just be smart. make sure your parents are with you to read over all the detailed paper work. and remember real modeling agencies make money off the commission of their models not off expensive "classes" or photos they make you purchase

@XxXSammiCakesXxX I'm sure you still have time to grow. and yes, at the height not particularly a fashion/runway model per se. But there are several fields you could work in. If you have a good look and proportion, Im sure you could find work as a "Petite Model." Basically if you aren't in the height range for some work, doesn't mean you couldn't work in a realm where height isn't an issue

@hearttopmodel05 thats difficult to answer just based off what your statistics show as to be a potential model you must have well taken care of skin, physique and a good look (in the face). Best bet is to take a few polaroids, headshot and body shot in normal lighting with no make up and send them to some agencies near you and see what they say. they'll be honest with you

@Roxzaney There are all sizes of models. Fashion models are generally a size 2 or 4. However in commercial print modeling there are model that represent all sizes. And plus size models can go all the up to a size 24...

never skip meals

don't work out hard core its not healthy at a young age

getting muscles naturally by bike riding, plaing sports, walking, running is the best way to naturally grow. Stretch alot and get your 8 hours of sleep! you will grow dramatically summer of grade 8 or during/after grade 9 if you keep it upp :)

How do you suggest I break into the business? I have went to John Casablanca's, but they wanted me to attend Modeling School & that was out of the question because I heard that was just a scam.

What's the more accurate way to break into the business? I want to try young, & since I'm 15, I read I have better chances.

I have very straight, white teeth, clear, soft skin, && unique hair. It's red, but a darker red. It's natrually curly, && most people say it's really beautiful. Bodywise, I wear a 34C bra size, have about a 28-inch waiste, && a 36-inch hip. However, I'm only 5'5, so I don't know if my height will be a problem. I'm also 13, ... so yea. :)

You can always do commercial print modeling. You do not have to be any particular height. Plus at only 13 you are sure to grow a few more inches then you can do fashion modeling...
