I LOVE the lightsaber dude! But there is one problem with the bolts. When I did blaster bolts before I just used the beam effect and the glow that came with it, but its better to use several fast blurs, like the lightsaber :)

dude, that was awesome! I'd do anything to be able to do this! When I get the money, I'm purchasing Sony Vegas Pro 9.0. Although I noticed the shadow, I didn't think about what people were saying. Well I'm not rich, but I think it's stealing to take somebody else's serial number to use so you don't have to buy it. Adobe isn't offering it for free and free serial number are they? They say you have a a30 day trial to use before you buy it. That's what they meant and so I want to play buy the rules. I certainly would not want to get busted by using a pirated version of it. Of course, this is only my conviction.

For the most part you do have to edit every single frame; frame by frame, by frame, by frame, by frame, by frame etc. =) However Adobe After Effects does allow you to set what are called "Key frames" and the computer will 'fill in' the differences between Key Frames. However it rarely matches perfectly and you still fine yourself tweaking every frame.

No, its done by timing where you start and where you want it to be in so many seconds. If you move faster or slower, it can't tell thats where you want the blade to be so you have to do it manually.
