I have nothing but admiration for Mrs Jenny Sanford. Willing to let him have his sapce to figure out what he wanted but with major ground rules. All he had to do was stay away from his mistress and he would keep his family. I wonder if his "fling" was worth the humiliation and heartache he caused his wife and children and likely losing his family.. Politicians are obviously very poor representatives for the male gender/husbands/fathers....

moregyal: In adultery, the one committing the act is the one to blame, not the spouse who remains faithful. You absolutely cannot fix marital problems by going outside the marriage. In this case it was the husband who strayed, he took the vows and broke them. The consequences are his to shoulder.

I have nothing but sympathy and respect for any spouse, wife or husband, (and kids involved) who has been cheated on. It takes a strong person to endure that humiliation and betrayal.

I also believe Osama didn't just send men to crash plane into building, Osama also sent men to put bombs in WTC and builiding 7 to make the buildings collapse... No one said Democrats don't cheat on their wives, it happens everywhere to everyone. The difference is that when it's someone like Sanford, someone on the very right side of his party, who put "family values" as his core quality, then this is hypocrisy.
