there is no way our current explanation of the moons orbit is correct, anyway you slice it there is another force at work, the free fall explanation requires a force to maintain it against gravity for the said 4.5 billion years, this goes against the laws of physics as we know them, also they admit this force when they say tittle bulging boosts the moons orbit, google planet near death.

this is proof that modern science is a load if jizz. The moon has no such drastic effect on earths water. If you are a smart ass then see that the water formation is linked to the earths magnetic field and the moon is also attached to that hence why it always faces earth
@cjellwood: One can understand the point you were trying to make in the first 2 sentences (many psychologically disturbed people do claim similar things). But buddy, your third sentence is something that completely blew out my mind.. it ABSOLUTELY did not make any sense! Gave me a good laugh though. :D
@subh1 I really hope you aren't implying that this video is to scale and therefore inaccurate. Your first assumption is incorrect rendering your post pointless.
@cjellwood The moon always faces Earth because of gravity, not because of the magnetic field. The effect of the moon on the water is exaggerated in this animation to make it more obvious.

Please don't get mad at me for posting this. I think it's important.
There's a mountain of evidence that the Apollo moon missions were faked. I posted a partial summary of it on a science forum. Google "The Naked Scientists". In the "New Theories" section of the forum there's a thread entitled "Did We Land on the Moon?". The summary is on page 15. It's the 7th post from the top.
People who still think they went to the moon simply haven't seen the hoax evidence yet.
@Cosmored With everything that has been accomplished in the world of science and astronomy it is hard not to believe they went to the moon. I'm not mad ;)
Actually, the moon doesn't pull on both sides. It pulls the earth towards it too (but not as much as the water) thats why the earth is more in the center of the elliptical water bubble and not just on one side.
This is one very "glorious" video. =p

It's still better to understand what's going on than not to understand.
