I used to have a Springboard International edition of this LP. The cover had a drawing of James. It appeared to have been partially based on the Sweet Baby James cover. I enjoyed this album. He did recut several of these songs for the Apple album. Apparently Chip Taylor wasn't happy that James didn't endorse his issuing these recordings.

This session was produced by legendary songwriter/producer/gambler Chip Taylor, Jon Voight's younger brother who wrote WILD THING and ANGEL OF THE MORNING.
