  • For the love of god! someone PLEASE tell what those black boxes in front of the singers are???

  • THIS BAND WITH ALL MEMBERS TOGETHER IN MY EYES IS THE BEST ROCK AND ROLL BAND EVER1THEY ARE NOT HEAVY METAL BIG DIFFERENCE. THIS BAND YOU GET YOUR LOVER GET HIGH AND SOME GOOD WINE AND MAKE LOVE UNTIL THE BED BREAKS!!!

  • I love this version!... :)

  • Now this is what I call singing from the heart and soul. Rock on Stevie!..........."Jagar"

  • Love it, Love it!!! In one of my playlists I have this song that they did in concert in 1981. It is really good. They look like they were having a good time. I also agree that everyone is getting older and I am too, I don't know how the younger gererations music will affect them, like the music of my generation has. I know the music of my time had meaning and you could really relate your life to the songs and make it your own.

  • i would be the happiest mofo on the planet if fleetwood announces a new tour and christine mcvie joined them.

  • @zulli85 i'm with you 100%. just waiting for the next tour, but with christine mcvie, it would be heaven!

  • Un freaking real. Stevie Nicks is awesome!

  • LADIES AND GENTLEMAN....THE QUEEN OF ROCK N ROLL

  • Beyond brilliant ... timeless excellence ...!!!

  • 3 people on this earth need serious help. Devastation performance here. Perfection.

  • there music is about there life

  • This song prove every FM member talent. I like it.

  • this is my favorite FM song hands down.

  • There is something magical about this song. <if the is something I will regret in my life it is not to have been able to attend a FM concert. Rock on Ancient Queen!

  • @TheGaurDude They aren't retired yet (well, except for Ms. McVie.) They plan on touring in 2012, so you still have a chance!

  • Stevie is so fill with emotion in this song..that when the song is over I'm just so emotionally drain that I'm moved to tears....

  • Steve Nickies best singing is in "Beautiful Child", the way she makes her voice warble is unreal. Also, the first sentence of her song states what it is about. I felt like a fool when I told someone it is a really emotional love song by someone who really got hurt. And then they told me to listen close to the first sentence.

  • This is a great song and Stevie is doing her very best. I loved this group and their music. But let's be honest, you can hear Stevie's voice cracking a bit. She didn't possess good voice technique and didn't sing from the diaphragm. Don't get me wrong, I loved her husky voice. It was remarkable that such a tiny woman could produce that big sound. At about this time, a friend of mine was studying voice and commented that Nicks' singing technique was going to destroy her voice. She was right.

  • @juscurious Funny, i saw Stevie in concert last summer and she sounded fantastic, her voice is hardly destroyed. No, she cant hit the high notes anymore, but she is 63.

  • Stevie's so beautiful and uh i also love the Hole cover of this song!

  • I have never learned how.

  • i cant believe only 113gs hits,

  • Breathless.

  • Damn this is so good! I can almost see the spark fly across the stage!

And Stevie's voice, omg!! Perfect, best version of GDW I've ever heard.

  • Dig it! Groovy, take me back in time. I loe it.

  • 1:58- 2:01. Bam.

  • Brainless twat? LOL seriously her voice was never really that good... Her voice was unique and difrent, similar to Bob Dylan but to say " one of the best voices on the planet"- I am not so sure about that. You were more acurate calling me a brainless twat then her voices was one of the best on the planet... LOL

  • The music of our generation is getting old and dying.

What have we got for the next generation?

    Rap? Anger, hate violence?

    Good Luck with that.......

  • @palonejr It's not all bad, it's just a matter of sifting through the rocks until you find a diamond. Nobody remembers the rocks in 10 years, 20 years later. But the diamonds of our time? They'll be talked about for decades...

  • oooooh Stevie was so gooooooood here!

  • @n3ite Your spelling SEEMS HORRIBLE.

  • @n3ite Because that's how the song is, you brainless twat. Other than your assertion that one of the best voices on the planet is "horrable" Nice spelling, by the way

  • Christine makes me laugh. They're all just putting so much in, and she's very sedate and like: "Whatev." LOL

  • CHRISTINE NEVER HAD ANYTHING ON STEVIE

  • STEVIE MADE FLEETWOOD MAC

  • @TheShadylady60 Rather an extreme statement. If this is the case, surely they should be renamed NIcks FleetwoodMac!!

  • BEAUTIFUL!!! NOTHING LIKE HER NOWHERE! ORGAZMIC AT 3:21!!!!!!

  • Wow! This is moving through my soul! Incredible! Thank you Stevie! Thank you Fleetwood!

  • Stevie is wonderful, but so is Christie.Beautiful voices together they created one of Rock's greatest Bands!Lyndsay plays a guitar like no other Mic plays the drums as well! John's bass was and probably stll picks up the pieces.Thank you for coming together We enjoyed many nights playing, and Loving to your music!

  • I love this song! It picks me up on a bad day!

  • MOAR COWBELL! :)

  • Mick is a crazed drummer!....."Jagar"

  • Why oh why is this not on the CD? Criminal!

  • @welshrocker01 They really need to release the whole concert in an audio format. I want to have the whole thing on my iPod.

  • She is the hottest woman alive!

  • Love that bass work...It actually sounds independent instead of following the lead guitar like a lost puppy in bands that don't know how to write proper scores for it.

  • One person has golddust in his ears!....."Jagar"

  • Mick Fleetwood cracks me up.

  • this song isnt on the cd

  • @thenut68 I know wtf

  • @thenut68 ....I know doesn't that totally suck, that was the reason I wanted it when it first came out...

  • This is my favorite version of this song. I was so outraged that they took this off the CD release.

  • @cwiermaa Me too. They could have fitted another couple of tracks on the CD, made it a double album or released the others on an EP or something. I ended up burning the DVD of this concert to my laptop and converting it to MP3 to get Gold Dust Woman, Songbird, Gypsy, etc.

  • @HisSpaceIsHollow I did the same thing. Except because burning the DVD takes a long time, I just recorded the audio my computer put out when this song was playing. And it's funny the thing you mention about the double album. Any time I make someone a copy of the Dance on CD, I give them 2 CDs that include all the tracks.

  • to all friends of the modern 3-note-music .... don't listen - please

  • @ 3:19 you can see the pure intensity of Stevie! she is a goddess

  • One of the best live performers in history!

  • That is very note worthy

  • Thanks for posting.

Why can't anyone make music like this anymore?

  • @raymhensley He puts the Fleetwood in Fleetwood Mac, literally

  • Her voice is a force of nature. Moments like the one from 4:28 - 4:35 of this video affirm why Stevie Nicks is the Queen of Rock and Roll.

  • I just absolutely love ♥ Stevie's passion. She puts her all in it time and time again! Gotta love her!!!

  • Damn Good. Sweet stage props too.

  • The vibes between Stevie and Lindsey Buckingham are chilling. WOW! It's as much of an observational stunning performance as it is auditorily. Love This!

  • This is just amazing - thru and thru!!!! I love you Stevie!!!

  • Whoever came up with the slogan that drugs kill, never met Stevie Nicks. If I were female she could turn me into a lesbian.. Well her and many, many other hot women so thats not saying much.. but still

  • love it love it love it

  • Lost her voice???you must be joking!LOL

  • It has to be said that the true passion in music can be seen in the way they play their instrument or sing, especially with the guitar and singing. This song is the perfect example. Hands down, this is the best version of Gold Dust Woman I have EVER heard.

  • Rock on Ancient Queen, follow those who pale in your shadow...

  • hard to believe it's been 14 years...

  • OMG. I love her. I'm a young un and my mom introduced me but she is a vocal goddess

  • Nicks had really lost her voice at this point. Great band, you should seen them ten or twelve years before this recording.

  • @noooddle Even with her voice lost she sounds remarkable!!!! Such a powerful presentation to say the least, particularly the primal scream she belts out towards the end. So perfectly timed and executed in a way only Stevie can do.

  • @noooddle -- no way. She is rocking it here. At her best.

  • stevie's vocal is so powerful on this one...you can feel that she is pouring every ounce of herself into her performance.... and the band... the band kicks major a- on this number...mick and john mcvie are a monster rhythm section, christine and lindsey filling in the empty spaces with their brilliance ♥♥♥

  • it just doesnt get any better. mussed up hair, rabid lyrics and grizzly execution = legendary performers and musical product mastery

  • Why don't we have music like this anymore?

  • Bass and drums!

  • Best version of GDW ever!

  • It's true... Stevie Nicks is way better live then on the album. She's fantastic in either, but she's definitely a performer. She puts so much into it.

  • Only 1 Stevie! And an band for the ages!

  • Stevie's still sexy as all hell....and Fleetwood Mac is still great.

  • I can't believe how incredibly well she sings this. She is in a class all her own.

  • holy smokes this goat can sing awesome song

  • Saw Stevie live a few weeks ago and she's still got it. And it seems like the older she gets, the more sex appeal she has. How is that possible?

  • In my opinion, this is hands down the best live performance of this song...

  • All I can say... is... EPIC!

  • Stevie sings to Lindsey in every song, So sweet. So much love <3 too bad they couldn't stay together forever, America's sweethearts :)

  • @proudlyrushian I just saw stevie live on 8/24/11 and she so rocked the show!! She sounds amazing. She sang this song and I felt like I belonged in the 70's cheifin away <3 but here i am cheifin in 2011 watching stevie perform. I F^_^ING LOVED IT!!!!

  • Stevie's voice is amazing, but Mick, John, & Lindsey kill it on this song as well.

  • QUEEN OF ROCK FOREVER!!!!!

  • After listening to this song, I want to learn how to play the bass and lead guitar!!!!

  • Clearly needs more cowbell

  • One person is deaf, dumb, and blind.

  • @lalas1026 1 person must be Courtney Love.

  • @lalas1026 Can he play pinball?! :D

  • "The Dance' was the best video/album Fleetwood put out!!!

  • 3:15 <-- DAMN!

  • totally!!!!!!! I'm a massive fan so I'll agree, naturally ;)

  • I'm only 26 years old, but Stevie flipping her hair out at @0:26 just drives me wild! A stone fox for the ages!

  • I rate her next to Janis Joplin, truely great

  • What Many People Dont Know Is That "Stevie" is a Humanatarin.

She Makes Visits To " Wonded Vets" Giveing Them Ipods,

Downloaded With Many Types of Music!!

She Is "Beautiful" On The Inside Too!!

You better put your kingdom up for sale

    Up for sale

  • Pretty damn good .......NO, Damn good

  • Mick on that cowbell..

  • Absolutely incredible! She just gets better with age like a fine wine!

  • That scream goes right through you. Holy cow. Excellent version of this song. Can't wait to see her in August. Got tickets man. I am so excited. Hope she does this song in the concert. I am sure she will.

  • Simply stunning!

  • One person is a silver dust woman.

  • I love this version of this song...her voice is amazing!! Hands down, my personal favorite song of theirs...

  • Etherial...just brilliantly beautiful!

  • Saw this concert in Phoenix in '98, on their Dance tour, instead of the marching Trojans, Mick put on a vest that was actually an electronic drum kit, and went nuts on stage for about 10 mins. AWESOME!!! Stevie is still a stone Fox ( that means really hot for all of you kids out there), and Christine's voice has not lost any of it's magic, to bad you missed it.

  • alright who is the loser that disliked this? i don't even understand how it's possible to not love this!

  • There is no question that Stevie is still in love with Lindsay as you watch her.

    Great music

    Thanks

  • @palonejr love comes in many forms........ as Fleetwood mac and their dynamics in their music to each other was godly.. in life a struggle.. but thank you to them for our experience of them :)

  • Every time I listen to Stevie Nicks I am lifted to levels unknown. Stevie Nicks Rocks!

  • Stevie Nicks..you are genius.

  • One of the greatest rock bands/groups ever in the history of music!

  • Love FM, love The Dance and now you:)

  • the secret of this band is the drums and the bass. Its like you fucking read about kids. The rest of the band is stellar, yes, but it all starts there. Lets not forget the writing or production either. Add a big fat dose of drama between the folks and BAM !

  • love her love her !!!!!!!!!!

  • No matter what issues and bad blood they have had since they days of Peter Green..very few bands produce magic like this when they are all together...

  • Whenever I listen to Fleetwood Mac it seriously makes my heart happy <3

  • im 17 and i grew up on Fleetwood Mac. im just one of those lucky kids with a good taste in music. (: oh & Stevie is amazing<3

  • i hate that kids my age (i'm 18) have no clue who fleetwood mac is :( i grew up listening to them and i''ll make sure my kids do also.

  • I love this song!!! Such a mystic atmosphere.

Stevie's voice harmonizing with Lindsey's voice makes it magic!!!

  • I could listen to this all day. I think I just might.

  • love them

  • seriously...no more trax,no overdubs,techno,hardrive,bs......learn to play a instrument bitches!?? wtf

  • I just can't get over how phenomenal this performance is. This songs transcends one into a higher dimension.

  • there's one person out there with absolutely no musical taste whatsoever. i feel bad for them

  • NO ROCK VOICE BETTER THAN STEVIE!!! PERIOD.....SHE WILL NEVER BE TOPPED!!

  • @MsMINDYLEE she is one of the very few female vocalists I can associate with talent.

  • Gotta love the more raspier, grittier sound on this version of GDW than the original This song keeps getting better and better every time Stevie sings it.

  • I wish this was on the album!

  • Why the hell was this song not on The Dance CD???

  • Stevie Nicks, God I love that witchy broad!!!

  • Sing on Stevie Nicks sing on!

  • Cool footage of Mick Fleetwood - looks like some kind of predator :-)

  • @s1ndydoll Mick's got the best drummer face ever :D

  • Good God! The woman sings right through me--body, mind, and soul. Simply the greatest female vocalist in rock history--one of the greatest, period.

  • @jstraw4 Well, Stevie...and Janis. :)

  • @jstraw4 Almost and pretty much....I just love her.....

  • Anyone else think that Stevie's voice has improved with her age? This and the version of Silver Spring are much better on this recording than the original studio.

  • @proudlyrushian I kind of agree with you on some songs, like this one and Silver Springs. Her voice on other songs though, such as Rhiannon I like better in the 70's when she could really belt out the song. All depends on the song I guess.

  • @proudlyrushian amen to that! she got more grit and soul in it now.it's like sandpaper on silk, mixed with a smooth kiss of jack daniels.

  • 1 of the most amazing performances of gold dust ever

  • great concert. wish that i could have been there. does anybody know where this concert took place?

  • @jw12061 It was taped on the Warner Bros lot in Burbank, California over two nights in 1997.

  • You Will Get Goose Bumps Over This scream.......Stevie is the QUEEN of Rock

She can sing anything, ever heard her sing "at last" ya got to find it

  • @SuzieGriss it doesn't matter what she sings. if it's the alphabet, the phonebook, whatever. i'd listen to it anyway!!!

  • God the screan just drove bumps in and down my spine....She is the QUEEN OF ROCK
