Why would you do a cremora in a tube? You should use a 5 gallon bucket.

@kcpyrotechnics This was a 10 inch wide cardboard tube with a 1/2 inch wall thickness. They are used like carpet tubes for shipping large rolls of rubber. If they explode, it isnt as bad as when a bucket does. The problem wasnt the tube, it was the fact that i built the cremora too early int he day the moisture was too high that day. The cremora pretty much turned into a solid plug.

@felisfireworks Thanks for the advise, but I get my stuff for the same price Spirit of 76 buys theirs for. Typically between $7 and 12 for a 500 gram cake. I piggyback orders at the beginning of the year with a large retail store at 0 markup.

@wallboy28 That was actually a 25lb Cremora that i lit electronically after the finale to suprise everyone. The cremora compressed and the tube blew out of the ground instead of projecting it up int he air... hense the fire and boom. But yea, do wait 30 min to approach anything that has misfired, especially shells.

Dont waste your time at shelton. We found a store that was closing and got everything super cheap. Your best bet is to find a wholesale place where you buy entire cases of stuff. CHeck out spirit or 76 fireworks...

Once again, Class C fireworks are completely legal in Indiana. There is no limit you can buy or set off at once. The show itself was 30 minuted long. This was just the finale. Nothing illegal. The cops can come if they like.

yes, the store was going out of business and they were getting rid or everything as quickly as they could. The markup is typically 400% or so on large items and thousands of percent over on tiny crap. we also got 25 grosses(packs of 144) of bottle rockets for $12. If you are spending alot of money, never go retail, There are always stores going out of business and/or store owners willing to work with you on price when you are spending a couple thousand dollars or more.

It was actually jsut the finale that was $2000 haha. The $2000 wasn't retail price either. The whole show uncluding everyhtign needed for setup, food, and everyhtign was about 5000. Retail price of the fireworks was about $9000-10000 for a 30 minute show
