  • we wonder what hill happen to thee pigs are they shpt oeven stabed to death what I think would be real mean is rase them intul they are readyfor market in a factory fams wre they don,t even get out to tute in the mud in Autraila they shoot them from hellacopters an drop poisent meat dwon I wold liek to see what it looks like when they dieeehy do I enjoy hearing pgs squel like when theyare traped having there legs bound or catrated its the ost ofal sound

  • @SUPERDAVIDLEVINE Ultimately the hogs end up being shot.

  • Were the piglets relocated?

  • @TurkeyCreekPrepper It's illegal to release trapped or caught feral hogs in Texas except to state approved feral swine holding facilities and those are all holding facilities until they go to slaughter. In any case, technically yes, they were relocated but not in the sense that you're asking.

  • Try that with a feral pig in Australia and you will suffer.

  • @jimincairns I'm friends with several Australians that go piggin and the hogs over there aren't any different than the ones we've got over here. Maybe we're just better at it in Texas?

  • @WildHogHunters I lived in Texas; the boars we get here will gut a horse.

  • @jimincairns They gut horses there and here in Texas they'll gut cattle. Maybe our horses are just smart enough to run away?

  • Would a trap door in the top of the cage be easier to get them out?

  • @video0101010 Maybe for the smaller ones but you're not gonna be able to lift a 200 or 250lb hog up and out of the trap.

  • @WildHogHunters for lifting them out yes i agree. But it might be easier to get a rope around the larger pigs than someone trying to crawl into the cage through the side door.

  • @WildHogHunters, after catching and tying them up, what do you do with them?

  • @kingcrumpet Some we sell and some we eat and a bunch we give away.

  • Great vid on trapping hogs. At 9 bucks a bag for corn, we shoot them and drag them off. Buzzards need to eat to. Not to mention I'm to damn fat and old to be crawling in a trap doing hand to hand with those little monsters. LOL

  • Watching this video is making me hungry. Too bad I live in the city. I heard wild hogs taste delicious, even better then pork since they are leaner. Would sure love to try it one day.. preferably on charcoal BBQ. Mmmmm... Great video! thumbs up : )

  • Mom's gone!! It's every pig for himself!!!

  • Those little ones sure are good on the smoker!

  • @txbackstrap Yes they are!!

  • @WildHogHunters fuck you too your evil!!

  • @tunigowan Every time you comment on one of our videos, I kill a kitten.

  • @WildHogHunters Lol that's priceless!

  • Really enjoyed watching, thanks

  • do ya sell the babies

  • @themasterbater6996 We do if they're buying them.

  • For critters this size seems to me that a set of nets in the shape something like a dip net with a mesh of about 1.5" to 2.5" max & a opening size roughly equal to the door of the trap would make this task a lot easier once the manner of using the nets would be a lot easier in the long haul. some sort of tool is usually a work saver for difficult tasks. regards

  • Why the hell are you tying them up

  • @samten10a Do you know of a better way to keep them alive and stop them from running away?

  • @WildHogHunters put the little ones in a barrel?

  • you shoulda tried to catch one in a pokeball

  • Did your camera guy deliberately miss you getting the noose around the hog and completely miss the shot of you catching the hog by the back legs? I mean dude, the whole idea is VIDEO, right? Y'all completely missed EVERY shot I wanted to see.

  • Wouldn't it be easier if the top of your trap was hinged, so you could just open the lid and noose those hogs right out.

  • @creamtt It might work out ok if all of the hogs we caught were small. Otherwise, hinging the top would either cause a decrease in the integrity of the trap or it would greatly increase the weight and the cost somewhat of each trap. Plus, it's not often that we drag them out so all of those facts combined make it not worth the effort to hinge the top.

  • last time we had piglets and a sow in a pen i went to the hospital for 18 stitches in my arm and hand thats why you gota be carful

  • @swflcracker247 Yep, even the small ones have sharp teeth that'll cut you open if you're not careful. It's not just the big boars that can hurt you.

  • its crazy how sharp there tusks are

  • What kind of rope is that? And what kind of knots do you use?

  • @300YardNoScope It's mule tape and the type of knots we use are a lot of knots.

  • @WildHogHunters I learned something critical here. looked up muletape and it seems to be a low stretch polyester tape that is used for conduit and pulling stuff thru tubes. in other words a strong flexible rope (kinda like aluminum/ black wire can be used to wire bumpers and mufflers on but you can cut it with scissors).

And I am horrible with knots so if I know I can hog tie a hog under duress with regular knots it makes watching Hogs Gone Wild more fun because I believe I can do that stuff.

  • @300YardNoScope Mule tape works great and you can tie really tight knots with it. Unlike rope, it's not round it's flat, which makes it ideal for tying up an animal. You can also buy it in varying strengths up to 6,000 lbs or more, so you know it's not going to break.

I can promise you that if you've got the guts to get in close and work with the hogs then you can do anything that they do on Hogs Gone Wild. We do it every day and it's no big deal.

  • @WildHogHunters Hawaii guy on Hogs Gone Wild was using mule tape for spring loaded ground snares and to hog tie all the hogs.

Before HGW came on I would watch all the hog doggin videos here and can easily visualize me running in, grabbing both rear legs, explosive lift and turn, heavy knee on hog neck and draw knife for 45 degree angle heart stab behind the shoulder blade. Only knife I have that I can attach to belt is a m16 bayonet I sharpened. mauser bayonet would work but poor handle.

  • @WildHogHunters out of typing space on previous comment.

I believe I easily have the physical stamina and nutsack to be able to run behind the dogs and run in on the boar and stab out while being safe.

Most guys who hog dog grew up hunting. I would be one of the few who did not.

18 months ago if you asked me if I would ever hog dog I would say, no. After watching videos, yes.

People might think I am talking shit but based upon past accomplishments I should have no problems.

  • @300YardNoScope All it takes is commitment. Once you get to the hog you have to be committed and get in there and do your job. There's no time for indecision or goofing off, you have to get in there and get control of the hog.
