Glock, I was there too, and I carry a glock as well. To clear up some confusion from other readers, Rob was not in the band, although he was a good Bass player. As far as I know everyone in this video is doing ok. Steve is well, and lives in Mo. Rick still has a band called EMN, Jim is in a country band called Bush Hawg, Mark split and moved to Atlanta and is still in music.
This band is or should I say was so great i wish i could turn on mtv and see these guys ther but of course not i see rap music with trashy girls rubbing up on guys shaking there hands and sounding like fags i just wish these days would come back COME BACK EMN Saigon KIck Sleeze Beeze Roxx Gang and all those other great bands
I went to school and hung out with Steve and Mark. We were all good friends until Rob Pointer died, and I kinda lost touch with everyone after that. I"m glad to see a couple of Hendersonville,Tennessee boys make it.
God, I don't care how old this song is, it still KICKS ASS !!! I was listening to this song when it first came out,I went and bought the CD. Rock needs to hang on and fight,we will never give up on you. R.I.P. Jani Lane.
This is hillarious! If you were to try to spoof all 80's hair bands, this is what the video would look like! I think they should go with it and fully embrace the humor in this.

New Years Eve 1990 we opened for these guys in Florida and we had to back line the PA. The singer dumped a bottle of champagne into my floor monitor and blew the horn...dude still owes me $ 600.
i'm a fuckin huuuge fanatic of glam rock ... there's almost no glam rock band that i never heard of ... how the heck comes i never knew them :| FUCK ... i just discovered a freakin amazing band !!!
Saw them live in 1992. Went to the concert with a girl that had went to HS with the lead singer. He came and sat down at our table and had a blast. Real down to earth.. They rocked live, too.....
great tune........ love the old school 80's metal!! At least it made sence not like todays music.....all voiceovers and dubbs!!!!!!!! This is when they wrote their own music and told it from the heart!! BRING THIS SHIT BACK!!!
I hate how grunge music took over and EMN went down the toilet. They were awesome, fuck grunge and Nirvana. this is awesome music, this band reminds me a lot of Poison and Skid Row put together, it's awesome. First time I heard this was on XM Hair Nation. Thank God for hair nation radio.
I'm from Memphis and knew thse dudes well. The bass player was only 15 in about '90 when they were getting popular locally, then got that 1 CD or so record deal. The oldest was only 19 when they signed. They were actually very down-to-earth Memphis boys and not stuck-up at all, (very rare back in that scene), but man did they do up ALOT of chicks and blow!!
Later in '95 they had stored alot of road equipment in Son Of Slam's space right above my own band's print shop space just before heading on the road. There was a fire the night before Easter '95, destorying 3 bands worth of shit, including my own! Not to blame, but it started upstairs where Slam was not supposed to be living. Our band leader got all our stuff replaced, but unfortunately for the others they had no insurance. Tough Break for all involved!!! R.I.P. 1974 Marshall half stack
Ya know they just don't make them like this anymore!!! Class of 1989 yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa babyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OMG What Memories. Hey Rick Its been many yrs since you all moved from Knoxville. I remember watching you perform this at the local battle of the bands at Knoxville TVA Fairgrounds. If I remember right you were called Hard Knocks back then?? Anyway WOW You guys always rock. I hadn't heard much of your newer stuff since wake up screaming but seen walls come down video here and DANG I love it. Take care and if the name dont ring a bell its Stanley Heck
Great song, I've actually discovered this song off of Music Choice's "Arena Rock" (now Retro Rock) back in the mid 2000s and this song brings me back alot of great memories
Ok. But what's a PM? Told you I'm new to this. I could blame it on being old, but I'm only 34. Just don't know a lot about computers. Never took the time.
For some reason, the 80's were full of one hit wonders who had plenty of good songs, including New Wave and Hair Metal. I blame MTV and its endorsement of singles instead of albums.
MTV supported artists and albums a lot more back then than today. Artists then had to worry about sophomore jinx and if they went gold (which they usually did) then they had a decent career to look forward to. MTV abandoned rock n roll first... now they've abandoned music. WHich is fine by me since there's nothin new and exciting. Labels don't even support and build artists anymore as they did in the 80s and early 90s. It's all about hit singles and .99 cent downloads.
I still have the tape from 1990! :) You guys should get the whole CD and their later CDs. They're still together in Memphis... they have a myspace... check it out
Great song, I've discovered this song on Music Choice's "Arena Rock" (Now Retro Rock) back in 2003, I remember being so thrilled about them playing this song that I've stayed up all night just to listen to Arena Rock
I just heard this song yesterday on Hair Nation - XM/Sirius Radio - Awesome tune, don't think I ever heard it back in the 80's Hair Band Days. Now I'm trying to find the song to download but only have the video on itunes. Guess I'll keep looking!
