Part of the fun of the stopwatch scene is that you're not really sure exactly WHAT Ianto's suggesting, but he's implying that he's like to go have some....er, 'fun' with 'ol Jack. Of the fornication variety.

I love the stopwatch scene. I've viewed the Captain's Blog on BBC America website and Jack is writing about that moment. He says that after he sent everyone home, the camera's just went off for four hours while him and Ianto did "inventory" and that somehow a desk got moved and crushed the stopwatch.

i know it's geeky, but cinematography is so important, and i think they screwed up big time.

That's not the Torchwood editors; that's whoever made this YouTube video... In the actual episode, I'm pretty sure that there's a shot of one of the other team members watching them, and in the interest of maintaining focus on Jack and Ianto, the YouTube video cuts that out... I think.
