  • i wana replace my DG41RQ with asus in 775 socket and in DDR3.... Can anyone suggest me a Extreme performance motherboard...??? :-)

  • @sahilbilal1122 It's cheaper and better in this day and age to build a new system.

Wait until April 2012, Ivy Bridge should be out.

Just build a new system ;)

  • is this the guy from the shamwow commercial

  • funny presentation :))))))))))))

  • does this run with intelcore i7 ????

  • @swordfishx3031 Nah, it wont. :(

  • @swordfishx3031 -.- socket 775?

  • i still use 775 because i prefer a dual core and all i can find in 1156 etc is quad or higher

  • @Muskickyoass There's the i3, which is 1153 and dual core...

  • Owesome vedio dud ,Hey dud Could you suggest me for new mobo, ram, hard disk, cpu c2duo ,cpu cooler and smps my budget is 400$.

  • Hey buddy could you please tell about ASUS P7P55D-E Pro - LGA 1156 - Intel P55 - DDR3 - USB 3.0 SATA 6Gb/s - ATX Motherboard and i7 from intel , Could you please tell me which one will be owesome for software development and gamedevelopment.

  • cool motherboard :D

  • i miss logan , fuck alberto and bower :(:(:(:9

  • yeah seriously lol what happend to logan:S

  • lol where is he now? XD

  • hes in the raze the world.

  • i hear hes at cnet but not completely sure

  • clear your CMOS .. take out the battery, and put it back in..

    that is one option

  • yea i have a sock motherboard with shitty amd 64 3800+, and i bought amd x2 7850 black edition. when i changed cpu my pc started but no screen, yellow light on power button then shut down. everything was in right, pllsss help me anyone what do i do?

  • The Asus P5K3 Deluxe Motherboard is great to work with , & my name is shane

Can I Use The Asus P5K Deluxe Motherboard in Australia from UK?

  • your sick

  • ya lol its funny lol

  • future proof my ass.

they werent going to stay socket 775 forever so there is little point in buying a board with onboard wireless etc

  • You realize this was from June 05, 2007? 775 lasted up until Nov 2008.... more than future proof, over that large span of time, you could get 2-3 new video cards, or save for the i7s :P

  • Exactly my point. You couldve done that with something alot cheaper.

  • yeah and f yourself up trying to buy yourself a i7 build... core 2 quads will probably be good top notch performance for another 2-3 years without real need to upgrade your pc unless your hungry for .8 seconds faster of a load speed... games and software have yet been able to utilize quad core technology yet

  • agree. The quads are really good. I am looking for a Q8 or 9 series

  • AMD!

  • amd=crap

  • AMD=No motherboard memory controller=No fsb=Better Performance

  • amd=hot and slow

    amd+bechmarks=shit

    q9xxx+benchmarks= amazing

    amd=better tech

    intel=better performance

    i7=amd tec :)

  • i7=amd tec=save your money than and go AMD for same peformance cheaper price.

  • noooo my friend i7 is realy faster than any phenom on the market....i said only that intel has the same tec as amd (i7) but you get a lot more performance with intel

  • true a lot more performance and a lot more money

  • your commenting on uptodate tech northing new is cheap..

  • ASUS SUCKS!!!!!!!

  • No sir. You suck.

  • thats becouse you dont know how shit asus is in the last time you pay for the Brand like Intel GIGABYTE Is the best 2nd is MSI

  • Asus boards crash to often!I work in the it industry i know what i`m talking about! so stfu

  • 1st. Learn some fucking English.

2nd. Asus is known for manufacturing rock stable mobos. I have myself a Rampage Formula with an E8400@4,2 an it never crashed or gave me a BSOD.

  • sory for my english, asus is known for rock shit mobos!!!you will see in time what is asus lol

  • I have built over 20 computers with Asus Motherboard and had one return due to bad ram they installed!.

  • stop bitching about the host, and judge the content.. or go find logan and worship him..

  • bring back logan XD

  • he says the 2 PCI-E slots are both 16x, is that correct, i've read they're 16x and the second is only 4x? am i right? please tell me ^^ i've just bought one, peace of mind would be a good thing lol

  • It's 2 PCI-e x16 and 2 PCI-e x4

  • Does the ASUS P5k3 deluxe support ddr2 as well as ddr3 e.g. is it backwards compatiable

  • no because the physical connections of ddr2 and ddr3 are different

  • Stability isn't a joke. I have the p5k deluxe that's the ddr2 version. OMG I got mt q9550 @ 4.2ghz

  • Im upgrading NEXT month.I dont know whether i should get a 2nd 8800GT SuperClocked and i overclocked mine to 735 Core/1850 Shaders/2.2GHZ Memory (so it would fly) along with an EVGA 780i Tri-Sli (future proofing) FTW Edition, Or the More expensive for less FPS than the previous option, Buy an ATI 4870 1GB Gddr5 with an Asus P45 or Intel X48 Motherboard. Im also looking for a PSU thats AFFORDABLE that can power a 4870 in Crossfire or GTX280's in Sli for Future needs. IDEAS ANYONE?

  • funny shit. "ripped it off the bridge" lol

  • i'm looking to build a PC. thigns i'm going to do include: Play WoW, watch movies, music/burn CD's. what is a good MoBO to start with, keep in mind i'm on a tight buget...any good options?

  • ATX SUCKS! power efficient energy star compliant pcs woth mini itx boards with gamer case mods and discrete mobility video cards is the new desktop people

  • whats the best mobo (asus) i can get with DDR2, socket 775 for a max of $270?

  • Asus Maximus Formula X38 Crossfire ready

or XFX nForce 780i SLI ready.. there are surely something better but I can't remember right now :P

  • LOL, this is epic!

  • "my opinion does not matter", but you go on to say you'll beat the shit out of me over it, so clearly it does matter. To you anyway... Why would you care what I think anyway??

This is a comment section, and I posted a comment. At least I have the balls to say what I really think, sorry you can't deal with criticism, it's not a character flaw I share with you fortunately. Sticks 'n stones my friends.... sticks 'n stones...

Hey, here's an idea: why don't you ban me from here? That'd be cool.

  • This motherboard do what motherboard do. That is your answer.

  • yeah, i know this tigerdirect very good, i already bought a videocard there, so, next i buy this motherboard, i trust this guys

  • yeah!! logan rocks!!!!!

  • try saying that in front of all his fans... hater

  • What are they going to do? Beat me up? Think my opinion will change after a good beating? - Think again...

I didn't say I "hate" the guy, just that I found his presentation style annoying and u-nwatchable? Isn't that allowed?

So I need to be punished for having an opinion? How mature.

  • seriously if you have an opinion keep it to your self cause seriously we would beat the shit out of you if we could your opinion does NOT matter so dont comment it

  • lol, you said shoot the guys, that usually denotes hateful thoughts.

  • lol magiccircle692000 look at the views on this video ... 120,000 and look at the rating he's got 4 Stars and a Half and that was rated by 90 people i would think twice when u say u should shoot some 1 and get them killed etc u twat

  • it sucks...it doesnt support my front panel (like my previous gigabyte motherboard) so i have to open the computer and start it manually :(

  • i have no idea, why the hell i watch these videos... i dont understand a crap of it...

  • Yeah henkkoman your a strict know it all aint you

  • can u please do a review on asus p5q pro please by the way nice video

  • the p5k premium was the most stable mobo ever in its time and now u got this i hope its stable as the p5k

  • how many times did he say future proof lol..

  • yea ive just bought one today and it will proboly come on tuesday cant wait till it gets here plus some cosiar ddr3 1333 hmm

  • why not get get p5e3?

  • becuase the did not sell it on the website i got it from :( but the p5k3 is nice

  • I doubted Asus at first, but this has way convinced me.

  • i thinks ima buy 1

    lol

  • nice... i have a feeling it's "future proof"

  • hahah,"using word" I hate word, you need a beast machine to run word, it's so unreasonably computationally expensive for a word processor...

but i know what he means.

  • Lol that was a great Jean Luc Picard impersonation. Gave a good laugh. :D

  • can u put one xfx 9800gx2 on a CrossFire motherbord

  • someone needs to do a lil homework

  • you can, the 9800gx2 itself isnt sli.

  • no, u can put them in sli =)

  • can u put a XFX 9800gx2 on a CrossFire motherbord

  • newb/

  • ppl dont learn these things cause some1 like u always has that answer.... dont b a dic, every1 starts somewer

  • every1 needs to start somewer...... im sure compro1994 knows a hell of alot of stuff that u dont

  • what is a good CPU fan for the P5K3 Deluxe

  • I have a P5N32-E Plus Sli, is this one that I have better than the one on the video?

  • that would be REDICULOUS your head would explode, xD omg hes hilarious

  • hahahaha sounds like he's saying heysus

  • i just thought to ask this. what would b more efficent? RAID 1+0 or RAID 0+1. im having second thoughts.

  • I would do raid 5, better than both those options in my opinion.

  • i picked a high comment vid to ask this. lets say i wand data striping (RAID 0) but i also want data mirroring (RAID 1). i do have the ability to mix 2 different raids (to a point). the two combos would be RAID 1+0, and RAID 0+1. theres a difference between them and i dont know what. but i want data striping (RAID 0) and then i want to mirror the striping array (RAID 1). im thinking this would be RAID 0+1. am i right? i need some xpert help.

  • Most of these Youtube reviewer guys should lay off their coffee!!! LOL

  • futureproof.. lol! it will be obsolete in a few years!

  • *Note* I have this motherboard, and like he says, it has two PCI-E 16 slots for corssfire, but onle 1 runs at full x16, the other runs at x4, and x1. So YES you can run crossfire, but you would not get the full benifit you would get with a mb which runs at full x16 on both slots.

  • che coglione il tipo!

  • lolololol! stupid man

  • There's no substitute for CC's,overclockings for fiddlers,I have just installed the P5KE version of this board today, yet to fire it up,built into a thermaltake DH102 case with the 7"Hitachi touchscreen, quad core proc, etc etc it'll be interesting to see what its like, but I will not be overclocking it!!

  • anybody know if i can put a ATI radeon HD 3870 512MB PCI-Express x16 on a Asus P5N-E SLI nForce® 650i SLI Chipset w/6-channel CODEC, Gb LAN, S-ATA Raid, USB 2.0, IEEE-1394 Dual PCI-E MB motherboard?

  • Yes, you surely can put one single ATI Radeon HD 3870, will perfectly work, but you will not be able to run 2 ATI Radeons in crossfire, only 2 nvidia's in SLI. Good Luck.

  • Okay cool thanks! 2 more questions; Do you know if I can put a DVI cable into the ATI 3870? and what would you say is better graphics card for the motherboard, the 3870 or the nvidia 8800GT?

  • Yes, you can use a DVI cable with that GPU. These two graphics cards are very close in performance from each other. Any of these cards will run just nice in your motherboard. What you really need to worry about is the cards themselves. In some tests the Nvidia 8800 GT is faster, in some others especially with filters turned on, ATI 3870 is better. I don't know which one I would choose though, very difficult decision to make. However if you get the 8800 GT, you can SLI if you buy Two units.

  • You need to update you self about this card and other ASUS motherboard. ASUS mostly do crossfire but have some SLI boards to but P5K3 Deluxe have Crossfire and not SLI so good luck in running SLI on this board.

  • Oh no,I was not talking about this Motherboard that Logan is talking about, it was about Asus P5N-E SLI nForce® 650i SLI , which the user captainforeskin was asking about... I know P5k3 Deluxe is a crossfire Ready motherboard. Not SLi. :) But sometimes it is possible to make an SLI motherboard to work in crossfire or crossfire to work in SLI. HP has done that with Striker Extreme, I don't know how though.

  • Oh, and I don't have the model box or anything, It was custom made and directly got it with just the computer, thanks again!!!

  • There is an easy way to check, go to the intel website and download there "intel Processor identification Utility" without the quotes.

    Nuff said...

  • Uh, I need to find out what my motherboard is, but I can't, since I don't have the box or anything, I need to know if it supports the 775 socket, or the old 478 socket, I need a 775 socket to make sure I can run intel core 2 duo 2.6/2.3 around there, can Anyone tell me how I can find my socket numbers? I REALLY appreciate it.

  • it is a little bit over the top xD.

i mean peace by peace, it is just a motherbord xD.

and i have heart the word future proof a lot xD

  • hahahah lol pause at 14 look at his face ahahha

  • PAUSE AT 00:14 LOL!@!@!@

  • loool

  • So does any one know what chip sets are the best for gaming with the nvidia 8 series and for over clocking???

There is so many kinds of chip sets and I just want to use a Q6600 and a 8800GTX! But I don't know what would be the best mobo if I had to chose in between ASUS with a Intel P35 chip and EVGA with the new 7801 chipsets.

    Thanks!!!

  • DDR3 only. The P5K Deluxe supports DDR2 and not DDR3.

  • This mobo support DDR2 or only DDR3? Thanks

  • is the Asus Striker Extreme better than this motherboard

  • no the asus maximus is better

  • no i think deluxe is best, because in asus striker extreme it have a socket that is wery hard to get. but if not it is perect:P

  • this is a old mobo... u really want bleeding edge new mobo... go the P5E3 DELUXE. ddr3 pcie2 45nm support 1333 bus 2 gigabit ethernet ports and 802.11n.

  • If i have a motherboard that can take Dual and Quad right,Can it take Intel P4 and Intel D Processors?

  • no. it cant take a pentium cpu! you have to buy a new morherboard with intel chipset

  • Not true. It depends on what socket your motherboard is. As long as the motherboard is a LGA 775 socket type and your CPU is a LGA 775 socket type it will work.

  • thats true.. but amd and intel haven't got same sockets... so my point is true!

  • ops my reading mistake.. i thought the review was about a amd chipset... my mistake

  • i need help

    i have a a7n8x-x cpu 2500+ i will overclock it to 3200+ 2.20ghz i tried but he reboot

    1,25gb ram 2500+ using now

but when i doin to 200mhz fsb ,the temperature flying to 95 C !!!

  • dude in my magazine it said it uses ddr3, and is this a good mobo?? i wana get it

  • ummm in the description it says the board runs DDR2... but in the video it says DDR3

    wtf

  • No it's set up for Crossfire

  • does it support SLI ?

  • If you have money to burn, this is the one to go. $350+

  • Negative. Around $230 on newegg

  • LOOOL I froze it at 14:00

  • Haha funny :D freez it at 0:14

  • freez it at 0:14

  • LOL nice =p

  • I loled... at myself... sad.

  • hahahaha :P

  • Sooooooo nice!

  • AMD suck

  • ddr3 costs like 500$ for a pair of 1gig sticks.

  • Can I use DDR2 Kingston Memory (KVR667D2N5/1G) on this MB? DDR3 memories are expensive, but I plan to step forward later when I can afford it.

  • unfortunately u can't use DDR2 on this board. u have to get DDR3. I wanted to get this board but like u i didn't want to get DDR3. so i went with a striker extreme.

  • no u can use DDR2 click on (more) to check for more info

  • Indeed, thanks buddy.

  • ehh crap wait this dosnt support ddr3 dont get it i got confused i didnt read it correctly its a P5K3 not a P5K

    go to ASUS.COM_

  • u can

  • I would own this soon.

  • if it used amd proccessors i woudl get one

  • There's a remake of this one or similar to this one and it's called the crosshair and it's for AMD socket AM2

  • cool, thank you. i will consider this crosshair model just depends how much money i hav saved up....

  • U.S.S. Enterprise NCC 1701-E Sovereign Class

and the striker is better cuz it has DDR3 which is faster but but also costs more

  • This board is also DDR3

  • Which one is better Striker Extreme or this one he's showing ? PLEASE Repley

  • This one, cause its Intel chipset, not Nvidia chipset which is more unstable. Overpriced too.

I just switched from Striker Extreme to this (DDR2 version) on my order.

  • lol this guy is funny. :D

  • It's bogus to buy a P35 high-end mother when there is doc. say ddr3 1333 - is not better than ddr2 800 only 1333 + is better than ddr2 also it's best to wait for future intel chipset's like x38

  • That dudes a fucking nut.

  • I have a discontinued ASUS Motherboard XSeris its the older version but it's the best!

  • This dude has no idea what he is talking about... so rtarded....

  • And i've only just got a p5w dh deluxe off ebay, oh well it was cheap. DDR3 is bound to pick up pretty quick into the DDR2 mainstream and intel have got such a strong platform now, amazing core 2 duo range most of them pretty much asking to be overclocked when your dropping them into a board like this or something similar like an abit IN9. At this time i do agree SLI would be better in these new boards as the 8 series gts nvidia's are a good price.

  • nahh =I sli isnt that gooood, at high resolutions you might get some serious performance boost, but otherwise i wouldnt put my money on sli..

  • Agreed, SLI is a rip-off

  • e6700 @2.66 GHz (333x9 @ 3005.5 MHz @ 1333 FSB) XFX NVIDIA GEFORCE 8800 GTS XXX 320MB DDR3 PCI-E RETAIL ASUS P5K3 DELUXE P35 SK775 + 2GB ASUS DDR3 (1333 / 8 8 8 24) KIT RETAIL ... almost 10.000 on 3d mark...

  • Lack of 3 physical PCIe16x slots = fail.

  • Logan Saved my Life and My PC

  • My next motherboard !!!

  • love it but i god damm hate it no SLI WTF

  • u did this vid on my b-day dude! anyway, impressive.. hmmm

  • This board rocks!!!! I think it's better than Striker Extreme. I was able to overclock my E6600 to 3.8GHz, just by increasing the FSB. Memory is overclocked nicely and easily. FSB is now 1688. By the way, it's easier to OC with the BIOS than with Aigear. By the way, I OC with the standard Intel CPU fan. If there is any question, send me an email at postpet04 at hotmail dot com

  • (My system: 8800 ULTRA XXX Edition, Corsair DDR3 XMS3, Thermaltake 750W PSU, Creative Labs Sound Card, Raptor 150GB, ETC.)

  • future proof? bout pci-e 2.0? eta dec

  • Enough about the guy and his hair (LOL) How do you feel about this motherboard?

  • best board for this p35 chipset atm
