It's a Gibson SG 61' reissue from the high-wall at a local GuitarCenter with 57' humbuckers.
It's real, thick mahagony or maple (think mahagony) and feels and plays awesome. I bought new ($2K) instead of buying used because I didn't want a guitar already affected by someone elses abuse on any of the components which would affect the sound (neck, rod, fret wear and tear, messing with the pickups) etc etc. It's a good guitar for sure, but I may be biased :)
Totally Awesome mate! From one heavy AC/DC fan to another, well done! Great song, in fact I would probably rate Flick of the Switch as my all time favourite AC/DC album. Cheers!
Excellent and thanks! They're definitely (to me) the best rock n roll rhythm band of all time. Got a deep selection of ass-kick songs spanning decades (and my youth-to-present). Considering raw number of bands world-wide, from then to now, there aren't that many having produced such an accomplishment.
Thanks I love this song and wound up happy with this result. There are some excellent sleeper AC/DC tunes hiding across many albums. There's quite a few more I want to get too eventually.
Thanks! I definitely like the stereo version. Mono drives me insane which is why I've been pasting the stereo links in my info's for awhile now, thanks to Phil about the &fmt=18 trick.
Thanks man. Guess I should have bought Mals Gretsch since I play so much rhythm but eventually want to be able to play lead, just not sure when that'll happen. Definitely having a lot of fun with this though.
Thanks Oliver always wanted to do this song. Playin the CD the other day really got me movin' so I figured I'd have at it and see how it goes. Not to shabby!
Thanks Phil this one is from Flick Of The Switch (great title track too might try that soon). I hadn't listened to the CD for awhile threw it in the other day and as soon as Bedlam cranked up I started thrashing and knew this one was next :)
Heard of but not tried Audacity. I use FL Studio 6 XXL package for audio mix. Used to have ULead Studio for movies but that was awhile back need to get it again and throw movie maker into bit bucket soon. But it works good enough for now I reckon.
Big fan of your work fella. I am trying to do the same sh** basically and love your results.
Audacity is pretty basic and free, but is easier to mix and pan etc than just headphones on the multitrak. I don't process the sound on it. Next step I suppose is to get back into the P.C software for pimping my mix! . Did you still flv this?
Well I'm an infant when it comes to playing comapred to you and a number of others but I do try hard and appreciate the good words.
Actually I didn't convert this one. Since utube no longer retains flv intact per the specs we discussed, it will wind up re-converting an already converted file which will absolutely be worse, so this is the raw wmv created from movie maker. Any idea how some folks have the "play in high quality" option for their videos?
Thats cool. I have been uploading my master files aswell. I find I get less volume swell.
Reason people have the HQ link is if they upload HUGE files I think. If you notice, when you do the &fmt=18 you have option to play in normal grade? Only my theory!!
Thanks dude definitely a fun tune. Pretty amazing how versatile the SG really is as far as what sound can be pulled out of it. Great with classic late 60's cabinets as well as metal shredder's like a big bottom. Friggin love this damn thing so much.
WOW ACDC!!! i piu' grandi di sempre sul rock
Bel suono e seguita bene in base ritmica

Sweet Mix Michael!
That sounds pretty flawless!! Nice one mate. Never heard this tune before either. 5*****
Just started to figure out audacity, which is far better for making the final mix than my multitrak.

By the way the stereo link of this one actually sounds decent this time around. Not a huge amount of warbling.
