I agree, far from the choreographer's intentions, but well danced. The characters though are not supposed to be sweet at all... they are proud creatures, making truce but resisting each other as much as they can, trying to cast spells on each other till the very end. It's such wonderful choreography that it allows other interpretations, but the original intentions are much more complex and wonderful to watch!
