Thankfully, they fixed the glitch, where sentries fire at cloaked spies...I think.

They never did, ever.

What may have happened is a teammate may have popped around thh corner as you approached the sentry, which would shoot at the teammate, but simply hit you, since you're in the way.

Pretty good tip on the bridge, but hen you go in the base, you're probably going to get spy checked, so I advise you stay invisible.
