this is a skin disorder. in which the skin cells keep on growing at a rapid pace than it is shed.

this is a very rare occurence and mostly the baby would not survive. but there is a guy who has lived this condition and is 20 + years now. his eye lashes are turned inside out. mostly these babies die because of loss of energy. energy dissipates at a rapid pace because of the continuos growth and sheddind of the skin.

It's called harlequin ichthyosis and it IS real...and very sad. Only in rare cases do they survive. There are two girls alive with it that are around 12 or so.

Babies that are this bad will generally die shortly after birth or in the weeks following.
