@0SukMunky0 They Didn't. a lot of these people were alums from the previous season who live on the east coast. Only those members who were able to, attended.
@pinchofsalt100 go to a military school and be in the military then we will talk. you have no clue wat it means to be in a company and be apart of a 4th class system for 9 months.
Im in the Corps numb nuts, one u wouldnt make it thru.
@H13killz0ne Go to the real military be called a real soldier. And they are Cadets. Thats the name of that drum corp. And I can promise you they march better then soldiers. Our Drill is no where close to as good as them
@H13killz0ne I have respect for "the Corps" but I bet you money the group in the video works just as hard. Many Cadet age outs are in the military. are they still "bandies"?
@IHATEPLAID could've been indeed ... good thought, i got pumped all of a sudden to march cymbals at the Cadets (prolly wouldn't make it anyway) oooh well
i saw these guys in jersey the day before the parade. two feet away. drumline was fuckin clean as shit. it was raining and like 35 degrees out and they played just as well as always. ill never forget that day.
I was holding a euph in my right hand for 5 hours while it sucked the heat out of my hand. And many of the tuba valves froze before we started marching.
Except when I saw Obama, I didn't mind being cold. =)
i was in the parade with the band i marched with. i didnt get to see yall march through but i saw yall warmin up. sounded good and from the video i see u looked good. looks like something id like 2 try out
Winter camps are in process, which means the corps has begun forming for next season. The Cadets devoted part of their December camp to prep for the parade and organize the trip.
Cold is not the word for it...20 degrees, and they had been standing around for 2.5 hours until just prior to playing this number. By comparison with other groups around them, they were great! :-)
2.5 hours? we got off the buses at noon and werent back on until around 6:15. longest day ever. We sound pretty good considering the frozen valves and frostbitten fingers.
I stand corrected! The Ted Kennedy episode delayed the parade for an hour, so you folks were outside for over four hours before you kicked off. I was getting cold by that time, and I was wearing quilted cold-weather motorcycle gear! As a tuba player, I felt the pain of those 16 sets of lips! Nice job, Cadets!
I was in the drumline and we just arrived back home.
We were outside in that cold for more than 7 hours today. We had to stand there for about 6 hours before performing. I feel that the corps did an excellent job considering the circumstances
How exactly did they get the whole corps in January? O.o

@0SukMunky0 Because it was for the PRESIDENT. Sort of a big deal.

I dont think I can ever get use to them stepping off on the right. It always throws me off when I watch em. And yes, I understand the tradition.

I watched this parade just because the Cadets performed.. best music and playing I heard in the entire parade.

This comment has received too many negative votes show
they are not cadets. they are bandies, therese a diffrence. go to a real military school and have real 4th class system, then be called a cadet.

And it's a CORP! xD

@H13killz0ne Ugh.... you're really not getting the point are you? It's just their NAME.
It is not implying that they are associated with the millitary or are trying to be like it, it's just their name.
