so far we don't really know much as far as hardware - but yeah no new hardware is out as far as I know...

Like Makaveli said, they're locked to at&t til 2010, but tons of people have theirs unlocked and working to Verizon, and in the UK O2 (the company who have the iPhone over here) like to tell people it can't be unlocked, and won't work over the internet or will re-lock itself, but it's b/s, don't believe it if at&t or anyone try to tell you that, I know tons of people with iPhone 2Gs/3Gs on Vodafone, T-Mobile, 3, tons of different networks.

I believe you can make drafts of emails, and also iPhone is locked down with AT&T until the end of 2010 so announcement of them branching to another network is not likely...not until 2010 comes around at least
