Eh, don't get the wrong idea. I'm not one of those guys who judges things based on how old they are. To be honest, compared to Johto and Sinnoh, I actually found the Kanto region rather boring.
Is it just 'cause of nostalgia? Because personally, I think they both have their flaws. Kanto was far too linear, and Sinnoh lacked variety in Pokemon.

@PaperRayman Psh, Kanto is on par with johto, their pokemon looked far more original and the story was far more touching in those seasons for the anime. Sinnoh is just horrible, excessive amounts of machanical looking pokemon and a bad ripoffs of the original team rocket. Mewtwo > Lucario, cause although Lucario is steel (thus takes normal damage against Psychic, which counters its Fighting weakness) it, like most steel-types, has low S.Def.
But in the Smash Bros Universe:
Mewtwo = Lucario, cause basically, their moves are very similar. Lucario is somewhat heavier though, and his power is boosted with damage, but Mewtwo is quicker and has lots of moves to stop and counter (like Disable, Confusion and Teleport). That's my opinion.
now when i gave it thought... if Mewtwo had been in Brawl... the source of the Subspace Army and the evil Shadow versions of all the Fighters would have been Mewtwo and his knowledge of the Cloning Machine that spawned him instead of it being the black essence Mr. Game and Watch.. for some reason. :/ and that.. would truly be an arduous war!
I now have level 100 mewtwo on Soul Silver. =) It had been so long since I had played the originals, I forgot just how hard Red was. He kicked my butt. Then I came back with lv. 100 MEWTWO and every single move was a 1-hit KO! Nothing like getting revenge on a fictional character in a video game! XD

I didnt know that because the movie shows him busting out of the lab then hes being used by Giovani then he bust out again but I dont remember the movie well
in the manga it was actually blaine who created mewtwo and he used his own cells since there wasnt enough cells from mew to make mewtwo so him and mewtwo shared a bond to where they had to stay close and mewtwo had to be in a liquid to survive but later on the bond broke from entei's flame so they didnt need to be near each other to survive anymore, also red caught mewtwo and gave to blaine when they tried to stop him from the destruction he was causing
In the game, any Pokemon can beat any other Pokemon, but this is done to make the game more fun and interactive. For the show however, I'm thinking the GOD Pokemon, creator of all would have some way to overthrow Mewtwo.

That's true, but then again, didn't he just create dialga, palkia, mesprit, uxie, azelf (and some others) and let them make the space, time, and so on?
If he didn't make Dialga, Palkia, Groudon, Kyogre, Mesprit, Azelf, Uxie etc, then there wouldn't be any emotion, land, sea, time or space. But because he DID make them, he, technically made time, space, ground, sea and all the other stuff.
In the game, there is a possiblility obviously that any pokemon can take down any pokemon, a magikarp can even take down a lv100 arceus, it really depends on the players. Now, if you put the anime into this, Arceus should be quite powerful as he is technically the god of pokémon considering he: Shaped the universe, and created beings that control the flow of time, space, emotions, thought, and willpower.
u have a point about the game thing... but as for the anime.... idk they need to make a match b/w arceus and mewtwo... i think mewtwo (if he couldnt beat it) would give it a run for its money...

I know that Mewtwo was the first powerful legendary to ever be created and I think that tube thing on his head is his oyxgen since his nose looks like a snake and he does not look like a cat more like an odd one or maybe even be a lyix. but great choice of pic.
arceus is not fast enough to attack mewtwo.. kuzz a focus blast or aura sphere (if that is posible... ) would give arceus a run for its money... stat wise mewtwo sp. atk is BEAST and speed is very good...
It cancels out. Mewtwo'd do average damage to Lucario. But, of course, then you'd take Mewtwo's raw power into consideration, super effective or not, Lucario is kinda fucked.
Then Mewtwo finishes it by pulling them all in around him, he curls up and gathers energy as they spin faster and faster around him, his purple aura becoming even more violent.
Everything stops.
And then Mewtwo spans out his arms and legs, releasing all of that energy with a cry as everyone is dealt one final portion of damage followed by an incredible amount of knockback. But the direction you're flying in can't be determined, Mewtwo will send you every whichway.
Mewtwo's Final Smash would have been Psycho Boost.
Kind of working like Kirby's Final Smash; anyone within range would be trapped in a storm of Psychic powers as they're thrashed about, very little damage for however long they're whipped around in the air, extra damage to a character who crashes into something, including other characters in the attack.
That is true, but there also was never such a thing as Aura Storm for Lucario. Smash Bros. is about bending the boundaries of the games that characters belong to, after all.
i don't care about the moveset. almost any character can have a unique fun moveset. i hate jigglypuff in general and she should've never been in the first one over yours truly unless it was because of time and memory space.
i used to play pokemon about 6 years ago i was a freaking beast at killing others. and even though i no longer play it. i still think that no other pokemon can compete with his greatness. they did make other legendary pokemons and some of them cool looking but i still think that Mewtwo kicks some serous ass. IF you know what abilities to combine.

The most legendary Pokémon, in my opinion. In the fan's hearts. We all know that Mewtwo was the ultimate goal, the one that everyone would gloat about after they defeated him or captured him. Using him at the whim of the trainer worthy of handling this beast.

If he didn't make Dialga, Palkia, Groudon, Kyogre, Mesprit, Azelf, Uxie etc, then there wouldn't be any emotion, land, sea, time or space. But because he DID make them, he, technically made time, space, ground, sea and all the other stuff.

In the game, there is a possiblility obviously that any pokemon can take down any pokemon, a magikarp can even take down a lv100 arceus, it really depends on the players. Now, if you put the anime into this, Arceus should be quite powerful as he is technically the god of pokémon considering he: Shaped the universe, and created beings that control the flow of time, space, emotions, thought, and willpower.

Mewtwo is a real powerful pokemon, i mean he even took out another phsyic pokemon for pete sake! but, I remember this theme, this was in pokemon staidum. I know that Mewtwo was the first powerful legendary to ever be created and I think that tube thing on his head is his oyxgen since his nose looks like a snake and he does not look like a cat more like an odd one or maybe even be a lyix. but great choice of pic.

arceus is not fast enough to attack mewtwo.. kuzz a focus blast or aura sphere (if that is posible... ) would give arceus a run for its money... stat wise mewtwo sp. atk is BEAST and speed is very good...

well, its based off Mew and Mew is DEFINATELY designed to look like a fetus. Mewtwo is essentially Mew but bigger and has less TMs it can use.

It cancels out. Mewtwo'd do average damage to Lucario. But, of course, then you'd take Mewtwo's raw power into consideration, super effective or not, Lucario is kinda fucked.

Then Mewtwo finishes it by pulling them all in around him, he curls up and gathers energy as they spin faster and faster around him, his purple aura becoming even more violent.
Everything stops.
And then Mewtwo spans out his arms and legs, releasing all of that energy with a cry as everyone is dealt one final portion of damage followed by an incredible amount of knockback. But the direction you're flying in can't be determined, Mewtwo will send you every whichway.

Mewtwo's Final Smash would have been Psycho Boost.
Kind of working like Kirby's Final Smash; anyone within range would be trapped in a storm of Psychic powers as they're thrashed about, very little damage for however long they're whipped around in the air, extra damage to a character who crashes into something, including other characters in the attack.

That is true, but there also was never such a thing as Aura Storm for Lucario. Smash Bros. is about bending the boundaries of the games that characters belong to, after all.

i used to play pokemon about 6 years ago i was a freaking beast at killing others. and even though i no longer play it. i still think that no other pokemon can compete with his greatness. they did make other legendary pokemons and some of them cool looking but i still think that Mewtwo kicks some serous ass. IF you know what abilities to combine.

The most legendary Pokémon, in my opinion. In the fan's hearts. We all know that Mewtwo was the ultimate goal, the one that everyone would gloat about after they defeated him or captured him. Using him at the whim of the trainer worthy of handling this beast.
