White was alright until Kramnik played axb5 (Ne4 was better and would have been equal according to Rybka 2.2). Qf2 was the last mistake which made Kramnik lose.

Yes you are missing something, if white takes the offered pawn with the bishop, white will fork the rook and bishop winning one of them, and the game.
hmm maybe I am missing something but would it have been better for white to do c1-g5 at 1:34?.. it would expose the black king and keep the white queen in play.
