  • g5 is in fact a theoretical move and if Bxg5, then after Qf5 white has no chance to win.

    White was alright until Kramnik played axb5 (Ne4 was better and would have been equal according to Rybka 2.2). Qf2 was the last mistake which made Kramnik lose.

  • ...:::"":::...

  • Good game!

  • Leko is Croat, thats why he is the best

  • He is Hungarian.

  • no man,he isn't

  • he is just born in Hungary,he is from town Imotski(you must keep roots)-he is Croat

  • check out leko's official homepage. or "offical" homepage, as it is spelled there. he lists his country as Hungary. the word croatia is nowhere to be found.

  • no matter what is his country

    He is Croat, Leko is Croatian surname...

    His family is Croatian

    I can live in Germany and wrote my country is Germany but that cant make me German

  • Im from Hungary, and I know he is also hungarian. I've spoke to him (guess what, hungarian languange) He lives in Szeged its a hungarian city, belive me, he isnt Croat :)

  • Yes you are missing something, if white takes the offered pawn with the bishop, white will fork the rook and bishop winning one of them, and the game.

  • No doubt, chess is all mental pain!

  • White was annoying the shit out of me in that game. WTF was White doing in the last min of that game?

  • thanks for putting this on.

  • Bxg5 Qf5 winning material I think

  • hmm maybe I am missing something but would it have been better for white to do c1-g5 at 1:34?.. it would expose the black king and keep the white queen in play.
