  • Loving Brothers Gibb

  • I can not stand this. So many pain in my heart.

  • they are addictive. Just love them singing.

  • I'd kill to see them live. RIP Maurice!

  • ¡¡¡ GRACIAS A LOS 3,... POR EMBELLECER MIS OIDOS, MIS OJOS Y MIS RECUERDOS!!...ME HAN EMOCIONADO!!!!

  • ¡¡¡MARAVILLOSO!!!!

  • ¡¡ SÌ,...MÈLODY!!!!

  • God help my soul...I just loooooooooove them.

  • This song is also the theme song in an enchanting film about schoolchildren falling in love at a very early age, in the UK the film was called Melody staring Jack Wild, Mark Lester and Tracy Hyde.

  • This was written when they were mere kids, just like us, and we saw them live in 1968, memorised then and still mesmerised.

  • this is so true , i was so down at 1 point i tried to take my life away , so glad i held on , my life is so good , every morning is the moring of my new kife i have now , and see , it so different , xx

  • Love Andy gibb's version as well - found it here in you tube. Love them all.

  • Bee Gees thanks a lot you're love song.

You make my life so comfortable.

  • Brilliant..Thankyou...

  • love this band

  • I can listen to this for hours on end....the lyrics are just breath taking. Watching the three of them moving in such precise sync with one another is a perfect example of why they have been so successful!

  • is it just me or is anybody else pissed off at all these "vote now for obama" "re-elect obama" advertisements in the top right.

  • The world loves you bee gees!

    BRAZIL

  • I love it when all three of them share the mic.......old school.

  • awsome lyrics, what a great song !!

  • Eu amo as músicas, eu qria ter tido oportunidade de ir num show deles.

  • Such a beautiful song. It is hard to believe they wrote it when they were "little kids." So sophisticated and deep for little kids. They spent their lives making us all happy. So sad that Maurice is gone now. All their songs are gifts we treasure.

  • Eu não tenho porra nenhuma parecida com alemães, arghh

  • Thank you all for dancing with me. Good night, than you and God bless you. :)

  • Trzech braci, jak miło... Też bym chciała mieć rodzeństwo...

  • Beautiful song .. R I P Maurice ...

  • I've decided that this is perhaps one of the most beautifully written songs I have ever heard and what a lesson these men are to everyone.......to be able to work so well and so intricately together to bring this song to life! From the way they step up to the microphone to the blending of their voices. If only all of life could achieve this tremendous balance. Gosh, I just love these guys! True harmony exists, we have but to listen!

  • I not ready to get of yet (';)

  • It's a day in ones life played on a loop..

  • Beautiful

  • love this song

  • gostei muitooooo!!!

  • Thanks I like you all Bee Gees

  • BEE GEES ROCK!!!

  • A Guitar, a keyboard and some surrounding... and three wonderful voices, what more can ypo ask for.if you want to hear such a heartwarming, extraordenary music. Without a lot of technical help.

THE BEE GEES! They sing, they are artists, perfect, only a few are able to make the world become a dream!

  • If that is"Catterwalling" then I'd like more,dragontooth81, you pretentious dick. I don't have to defend the Bee Gees, their next six generations don't have to work if they don't want to but gee whiz, I think they are swell! Wait, let me pick up all those names you dropped on the floor to make you sound hip. Okay, you're a Bee Gees hater. That's cool,so don't listen to them? Yes this is a waste of time replying and no, I don't have time to do this shit but I do.

  • OMG.. I'm falling asleap.. I'll never make this mistake again.. I only listened because I watched a faith no more video cover of a Bee Gees tune called.. "I started a joke" These guys sucked ass juice 30 years ago and now, I still cringe at their spine grating girly voices... How can anyone like guys that sound like chicks when they sing..... Devo put out better music than this tedious humdrum Barney the dinosour puddle of gooo

  • @dragontooth81 , You have no sense of what is good. The Bee Gees are the greatest group. Harmonizing, great lyrics and voices of angels. You shouldn't bother to listen to something that is too good for you and beyond your comprehension.

  • @kira8561 I listen to everything from Mozart and Paganini to Maria Callas singing Puccini's

"Oh mio babbino caro" or Mario Lanza singing "Vesti la Giubba" Listen to that if you want to hear what talent is! Barry White, Etta James, The Doors, Led Zeppelin, Faith no more, Disturbed, The Melvins, etc.. I could go on for ever, but the Bee Gees was some of the worst catterwalling I ever heard affront my ears in my life time. I'd rather listen to Sined Oconnor squak than the Bee Gees giggling tunes.

  • bee gees is cool, but you guys have heard Geraldo Vandré? is a Brazilian singer ... listen to MPB and see a great song

  • outstanding music, voices, and lyrics!

  • My boys listened to BGs when they're babies. They're 14 and 11 still listening now and they just love the BGs! Their songs never grow old!!

  • when the moon is at its rest

  • the moon is anti-trust?

  • The Barry Gibb show

  • dictionary..."harmony" = Bee Gees xoxo

  • Just can't understand how 3 people can dislike 3 of the best singers of the century.

  • nice concert! bee gees!

  • Aussie reespekt

  • Really great Song and footage. Grew up listening to these great guys.

  • too good for wrords x

  • If anyone care to know or remember, this song is taken from the movie" Melody Fair" released in 1971. Saw the Bee Gees twice, once in 1971 and 1973 in Kua Lumpur.

One of the greatest bands of all time but sadly since the demise of Maurice Gibb, the group has been inactive. Hope they will reform minus Marice sometime in the future.

  • "comme si, comme ça", I don't know why some american tought that talk french is cool. Maybe because it's a language that is complicated to learn...

  • @sapher974 Who is the American you are referring to?

  • a Night to Remember !

  • Great song. Please check out my cover version.

  • Beautiful Beautiful Beautiful.

  • TRY THIS SONG SUNG BY THE GREAT JOHN HOLT...YOU WILL LOVE IT ALSO....

  • I like this song.

  • i adore this song

nina simone did a great version

  • Beautiful songs, but why do they sing so stacattoly here....the studio version is different; with beautiful legato-singing...

    Very pretty song!!

    ed

  • This is such a beautiful song but it makes me think of my husband who passed away. He was only 40 and taken way to soon and unexpectedly. We had great respect for one another and a wonderful marriage. I guess this song reminds me of what I am missing. I loved and adored this man and I miss him even more. They say time heals, but then, they didn't know my husband.:( Maybe one day I can hear this and the sadness will be gone. I can only hope.

  • @Msdistarr

so sad to read your heartfelt message.... remember, the longest , darkest hour is still only 60 mins long.

Its a beautiful song, and one day the smile will have the balance of power.

The power of singwriting at its best!

  • @Msdistarr I don't know you but my heart goes out to you, I only know one thing & that is that you will meet again. I'm not a churchy type person, but I had an experience after my father in law died & I can't explain it but he came through me to my wife & said they would meet again. I was afraid of dying up to that point in my life, but immediatly after that I had no fear. I hope this brings you some comfort all the best.

  • @engineers1969 Thank you. I sure hope your right. I don't know what to believe in any more. I went to church when I was younger, at my mom's request, but I am no longer an active member of the church and haven't been for some time. I was so angry at god for taking such a good person away from, not only from me, but from his friends and family. I wish I had the absolute faith that you seem to have. I just don't know how to find it. That would surely make this a little more bearable.

  • @Msdistarr sorry, sweetie. i hope you can find a way to go on in your life. life is so hard some times... Lamar

  • @emeraldfrog1 Thank you for taking the time to send a few words. Even though we have never met, it means a-lot to me. Crossing paths with a kind person, however that may be, helps me more than you know. Thanks again.

  • @Msdistarr Iam sorry to hear abot your husband I to lost mine at 47 and like you he was my world. The bee Gee's song's got me through the heartbreak of losing such a wonderful soul mate and this song I dedicated to him. The Bee Gees are wonderful together and always will mean so much to all their fans.I wish you the very best.

  • @libby5358 I am so truly sorry to hear of your loss. When you have married your best friend and had a great marriage, it makes it that much harder. And that, I completely understand. But it sounds like you have found your light at the end of that never-ending black tunnel. I know there will always be a part of you missing as they take a piece of us with them when they go. I stay hopeful. I wish for you, peace of heart and mind. Take good care.

  • What a truly GREAT line - and by such a young kid:

"Please be patient with your life - It's only morning and you've still to live your day."

  • great song i ever heard...

  • It´s so beautiful. No words can explain how i feel, when i hear this song. Thank you for this awesome song and performance. Thank you. Thank you.

  • Remarkable insight for boys so young as they were, 14 and 11, to write lyrics such as these.

It was one of my wife's favourite songs. Worse, last month, my 20-yr old son who's quite musical, took out his guitar and sang it. He was desperately upset to see me in tears.

It left me trying to explain the numinous power of music, the way it breaks right past all our conscious barriers and opens the deeper emotions we keep locked up inside.

It's good to have a damned good cry every so often.

  • @Limpandtotheleft So true and thank you for that personal experience...I believe that will hit home will millions of people in the world. If the experience happens to be caught on tape...please let me know or post it...I would love to share in the moment.

  • Heard this the first time today. Really love it. Even tho i m not much into Bee Gees.

  • Awesome group that makes ya just feel good!! :-)

  • impecable !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Live this song takes real genious to write at this level!...thanx for uploading

  • I listen to the bee gees for a long time.. and I'm only now relising I only have listened live performances, while normally I hate live songs and love the recorded ones.. The bee gees are one of the very very little ones who are better live!

  • Question... sorry if this has been answered... too many pages. lol I was recently at a David Gray concert and he did this song. I had never heard it before and was blown away. Who is the original performer of this... anyone know??

  • @countrygal0831 As you could hear, they said they wrote it somewhere.. and they have written much songs.. so I'm almost certain they are the orginal singers.

  • It was written by Barry as a kid, the first version was by them.

  • @countrygal0831 I don't think the Bee Gees really do anyone else's songs. Although I do know they did, Will You Love Me Tomorrow as a tribute on the album Tapestry... Was it for Janis Joplin???? I don't remember. But it is a beautiful version of that song. Otherwise, I do believe they only sing their own songs. Am I correct? Does anyone else know?

  • It was as a tribute to the writing of Carole King.

They don't sing covers as a rule, they write all the tracks on their albums.

  • In my most humble of opinions, one of the greatest live concerts.....evah!

  • R.I.P MAURICE :'(

  • 3:06

  • i love this song... greatings from italy...

  • Their best song of ther ONO dvd.

  • great song...look 4 john holt singing this,with a twist

  • 2:09 to 2:41..can it possibly get any better than that?

  • I love this song, I had the honour of seeing the Bee Gees live in 1998 in London, it was awesome.

    RIP Maurice x

  • Cannot fathom that this little gem is over 50 years old! It is timeless.

  • Please, somebody bring all this talent and beauty back. We need this kind of peaceful music in our lives to calm us, to take our minds off of this world we live in. . . . . .

  • Best musical group EVER! There will NEVER be another!

  • Wonderful song !! Thanx !

  • i was in iraq and listen to The Beegees

    amazing voice

  • i fuckin feel jealosy who was in this live concert

  • A masterpiece I agree, but also amazing to hear how they have worked with, and improved, it during the years - this versions is outstanding

  • I sure do miss Maurice.

  • @aiken1: I miss Maurice and Andy also. sometimes tragedies happen in life. But that doesn't make sense of the pain. I pray for the other brothers. They contributed so much.

  • amazing !!!!! masterpiece makes me tingke xxlove you begees lov eya andy and mo you are with me in my soulxxbabsie

  • You would have to be out of your mind not to love this song! Wow, This is pure talent at its best. A guitar and three fantastic singers. Thanks gferdin for uploading this ..the sound is incredible. I have my 18 year old daughter listen to this song everyday hoping she'll eventually get off her rap kick.

  • Don't worry, she'll come around eventually. I went through similar phases before at 25, coming to appreciate the music of my parents'. To be truthful, the Bee Gees are about the best harmonic trio out there. I hate making contemporary comparisons, but people who appreciate Rascal Flatts will find the Bee Gees to be a quick love (perhaps vice-a-versa). There is little more lovely than the harmonic voices of brothers singing together. Trust me, she'll realize this one day.

  • @1933goudey try the version of david gray, kt tunstal and ray lamontage, it will blow your mind as well... and it much better,, it always brings me to a different place when iam listening to their version

  • @idilali It's a nice version but not better than the Brothers Gibb version.

  • @1933goudey

maybe you should try the 'new york mining desaster'... it fits better to rap

  • I show this to my classmates

  • Yay, BeeGees ~ the best musical group ever!

  • 5/5

  • EXELENTE!

  • Hola, apenas hace tres horas estaba viendo y escuchando otra vez este concierto. Fué y es extraordinario. Interpretaron las melodías mas famosas y hermosas y..............Andy estuvo también con ellos.

    Saludos afectuosos

  • a masterpiece!

  • @MTV the Netherlands, this is the music you need to broadcast and not those stupid programs such as my sweet 16 or pimp my ride.

  • I am 31 yrs old, and I am old enough to remember MTV when it played music.

  • @ReadeRomke JUST RIGHT !! ( from holland too) fck to al that crap programs the broadcast on mtv and tmf. bee gees, golden earring and mucis like that !

  • Maurice ........baby you are the love of mi life , i love soooooo much and always i gonna love for the rest of mi life .

  • Written in Wagga Wagga

  • This song is included in the '70s film Melody (SWALK) along with other heartfelt melodies that haunted me long after I'd watched the film

  • Very good memory Wolf. I saw the movie so many times I can remember the dialogue by heart. The movie sure left an impression that one keeps forever.

  • I felt the same way too. It was one of the very few unknown films which have an impact on so many of us. It was very popular in Asia and South America.

  • Agreed as one of the best group ever...I've watched their DVD that includes this great song times and times again...Incredible vocals.

  • For ever !!

  • Fantastico

  • Awesome group! Awesome harmony! The best ever!

  • Among the greatest bands that ever existed. This is beautiful. Love their harmonies.

  • Made me cry! Love this song

  • This song gives hope to the Australians that the bushfires may end soon.

  • WOW ... what a cool song .. I had no idea they wrote this when they were kids. Y'all are right when you say that God gave them such beautiful talent even as kids.

  • This song truly shows the talent of this group. To think it was written by kids. Wonderful!

  • Lol we all had to sing this in our junior school leavers assembly !!! No1 Knew the words !!! lol xx

  • GOD bless this gift to mankind...I can ONLY envey....What an AWESOME FAMILY
