@creamie123 ok...you didn't have to joke around with that. Latin's an important language and doesn't need to be fooled around with. Also, most of the romans were killed because of the eruption of Vesuvius, which also lessened the spreading of the Latin language. Anyway Latin's one of the greatest languages and i love it!

@Zaxxarius Music has that affect on people. Granted the whole stomachache thing is a bit much, but the fact still remains. That being music, including instrumentals and those with lyrics, can and most certainly will have some sort of effect on a person. Be it physical, emotional, or otherwise.

I credit the use of the light instruments and heavy choral in Latin no less, that creates such an ethereal, otherworldly feel to this song. Perhaps the fact it is Trisha's song adds depth and draw.

@narushipfan1 OVA stand for Original Video animation; they're movies or series that are spefically made for home video formats. They're usually one shots (a stand-alone type of thing) but sometimes they're made as either a prequel or a sequel, though sometimes they're made as second endings or just specials--this is the case with FMA.^^ Go ahead and watch them.=) The specials are all 2 minute videos and the OVAs are about 16 minutes long each.=) Just search Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood OVA 1.

fma really captured the emotion, but fma-b pulled it off a second time, and with the actual story it should have had the entire time, to me fma-b makes alot more sense in plot than fma, but i do love both, if i had to choose i really couldnt, the difference between their awesomeness is as miniscule as a single strand of hair

@vsenaher I like happy endings too and I dislike cliffhangers, like the one we saw at the end of the original FMA anime series. When I saw the movie though it tied things up really well. I'm only halfway through Brotherhood but so far I actually like FMA more. It was darker, more emotional, seemed like it took itself more seriously than Brotherhood and went deeper into the character's emotions. Just an observation. I'm lookin forward to a happy ending though!

It's not about the emotions that it instills that makes it good - it's the complexity and coherence of its convoluted plot, it's depth and coverage of the characters, the balance and pacing, the allegories and subliminal messages that it tries to convey to readers about certain philosophical and moral musings. It seems as though everything was planned out right from the start. It has one of the best "flow" of events.

@creamie123 The only issue which I have qualms with the manga is that it seems to rely too much on plot shields or the notorious "deux ex machina". There has been too many times when the enemy is just about to kill the protagonists when some divine intervention suddenly appears to magically shield them from any further attrition. Once or twice is fine, but it has really occurred way too many times; however, it was necessary to save time and stir the plot in the right direction. @O@ REINCARNATION
