@99Osen actually the story behind that was bacause when the new world was first discovered, no one knew the continent even existed and the explorers thought they traveled around the world and landed in India, when in fact it was later found not to be India. The name "indians" I guess stuck and is still used even today. Your right though, people should stop calling them Indians.
