If you don't want to wait then buy the DVD, don't blame the other downloaders for your impatience.

I personally only seed things that have few seeders and are hard to come across, but a movie like 300 would have thousands of seeders anyway so I wouldn't see the need to. If it's rare and needs assistance then I'm fine with loaning a little bandwidth to help it along. Otherwise I don't bother. Thanks to all of you who do though, you make my life that little bit easier.

The more seeders, the better. Faster downloads usually comes from more seeders than leechers, but that's not always the case.

I have a question. Would a download go faster if it had more seeders than leechers? What if there are more leechers than seeders? Does this make the download slower? Or does it not matter.

Oh and my downloads automatically seed when they are done, =)

What really bothers me, is when I download a torrent that takes days or weeks because there are only one or two seeds, and then still, after I seed to some crazy high ratio like 50, and even when my ratio is that high, there are still only 1 or 2 seeds! It's like none of those people who downloaded it stick around to seed and that just makes me sad.

It also makes me really mad when people complain about a torrent going slow, and then they don't seed!

Seeding is the same as uploading. Most bit torrent clients have automatic uploading as you download and all that. Look for a little up arrow with a speed in kb/s. That is your upload rate and when you are uploading you are "seeding."

Well, with Azureus all you really have to do is keep the program open (typically over night so you dont bog your connection). You may have to go to the bottom section of the program and right click the torrent you want to seed and click 'Queue'. That's pretty much it....thanks for watching
