I miss the dancing animators and ink and paint girls and the Walt Disney face character! They were my favorite part of this parade, and they're not in the newest incarnation, Celebrate a Dream Come True. :(
omg ok i work @ disney and i have NEVER seen it this empty either lol there is no croud control either and absolutly NO performers hahaha i would hate 2 b there tht week were so short staffed when its empty haha its better if its crowded haha
This was shot after the accident, because the castle float was not originally in the parade. The princesses had a three float line up and then the Peter Pan float was last.
I love Disneyworld... :-) excellent video, thanks for sharing it... brings back many memories for me... going back September this year.... to say i can't wait would be an understatement, am taking my bf along with my family this time as he's never been, and he has no idea what im getting so excited about haha
Oh man, I love disney world its like my favorite place ever, I went when I was 10 (I am 13 now) and I had the time of my life, ever since I left the park I wanted to go back..Its true it is the most magical place on Earth!
ik im 15 and im going this summer i know im going to be one of those teens that run to all the princesses and go on all the kiddie rides and my friends going to be there when i go so I WONT BE ALONE
Love it very much, iv only been to the Disneyland park in California and in Paris (Tho I think it should have been built in Southern Spain, Climate is the same as in Southern California. In Paris the climate is bad for Disneyland to be there)
I love this parade every year I went its never changed! And when I was 10 I was picked to be part of the parade.I had to hold hands with the dwarfs and just go in and out!It was MINT!
Poor Alice. =( This is the only Magic Kingdom parade in the world in which she doesn't have a float of her own. (That, and I /swear/ her dress is more poofy at Disneyland...)
yeah...WDW doesn't like Alice...she doesnt' have her own float in the Disney-MGM Studios parade either, or she rarely appears in Fantasmic in the Disney-MGM Studios version =(
That and, at least in my case, she's REALLY hard to find in the parks. If you're not in the right place at the right time, you won't see her. xD I finally found her this winter in England at Epcot. I seriously haven't seen an Alice meet-and-greet walkaround in /years/.
I used to dance in this parade. It is HARD work, ESPECIALLY if dancing in a costume. But gee, it still makes me cry remembering what a rush I got dancing down mainstreet!
TheScottishChatshow is correct. This was shot from the Train Station, a completely accessible area at the beginning of Main Street. The only thing is this area fills in pretty fast for parades and fireworks, so get there early if you want a good clear view.
This is great. Happy memories. Thank you.
