Esalen, as a teaching place, has been around for decades. Were you just there for the scenery or was there something you were studying there? ~ So, what's the particular turning point in history that you mentioned?

My graduate program was on retreat. The turning point is the collapse of industrial civilization to prepare the way for the ecozoic or planetary age.

Thanks for that. It's been about 35 years since I was there. I don't remember there being a path to the water then or a beach. I wonder if they still have the old bathtubs with hot spring water where you could bathe and look out to the ocean. Amazing place with wonderful programs.
