Very true, but I like what you have done with it. The one thing I did notice while watching the episode, "Rose", was that the Doctor was still trying to work out his new personality and commented on his looks in the mirror. So it wasn't to far after he regenerated after surviving the Time War with the Daleks.

Well, it was some kind of regeneration, but not into 11th Doctor. It was only aborted regeneration, while energy was redirected to the hand, thus Doctor was healed without changing... and that energy then started Human-TimeLord meta-crisis, resulting in human Doctor and DoctorDonna.. still not Doctor's 11th incarnation

Because it never happened on-screen. The Eighth Doctor was the on from the movie, and when the series was revived, the time-war, and his regeneration had already taken place. It's common speculation that the Doctor regenerated in the Time War.

I don't know to whom your response was directed (if it was indeed directed to someone), but here´s how things work. The Timelords can regenerate 12 times, which means they have a total of 13 lives. David Tennant is (soon to be "was") the tenth doctor, so nine regenerations have been used. This means there is three regenerations left.

He plays Jackson Lake in The Next Doctor. It's not a regeneration though. He's still the Tenth Doctor. He didn't change because he didn't regenerate all the way. He was in a good enough condition and mild enough wound that a full regeneration wasn't necessary and he had the bio-matching recepticle. It's the... 9th and a half regeneration. He finally goes through the tenth regeneration a year from now (roughly). :)

Well done. I'm new to the doctor who series. Just wondering 8th/9th regeneration. 8th Doctor was a movie and the 9th from the 2005 season 1 series, but they seemed to be woven together, was this editing on your behalf, or did I miss this episode/scene from 2005/ season 1.
