dear god, do not add gaussian blur to a threshold image, looks fucking awful. go to channels, ctrl+click the thumbnail, use refine edge from the selection tool menu (M). adjust accordingly using the black/white preview. press okay, on a new layer fill with black or white. make the solid colored layer the opposite of what you filled with and flatten the image. Thumbs down on the video for just terrible advice. never blur the aliased threshold image, what is wrong with you
