If u slice work on turning your hands over more and closing the face thn y can start hitting left to right fades and play those for more distance and accuracy easier said thn done though

I've given up.. I just play my slice with my driver... Only maybe 2/10 times do I actually hit what I'm aiming at! Thats the best strategy in eliminating the slice!! :)

@MikeB299 close your club face. and aim straight. the worst thing you can do is play your slice.

@MikeB299 dont say that...there is a way to cure it,,,u just need to exagerate ur right wrist and really curl it through and u will start hooking the ball....i had the same problem

i have a lot of trouble with my driver or drivers considering i have gotten a new one. i usually dont hit the ball very well because for me i have the 460cc tees or the white and blue tees and im putting the tee right the blue marker says to and i pop it up and then when i put it a little lower i top the ball. my dad says my swing is nice and smooth but i dont know how to fix the problem so can anyone help me out

@hmponley technique helps with trajectory and slicing, hooking etc. swing speed is the main component of power.

@MrSportsPicks I agree, but........Swing speed doesn't do much if you don't hit the ball with the center of the clubface.....

@KiDoGoLFeR One tip i'd say is make sure your hips aren't turning to fast that your stance will cause your club face to open.

Wow, these little tips helped my game so much that i went to him to get more lessons, (luckily i live near that course) and now my handicap has dropped 6 strokes!!!

Good tip, but im shocked at the swing. I have been taught and have seen most pro's and never seen them bend there left elbow on the backswing. I dont know your ball flight because the video only showed the strike. But i would be shocked if you told me that ball flew straight with a bent elbow.

@nickyfingaz I'd like to point out, He's an old man.. That left elbow will bend from every person i've played with at my local club.... They hit it straight, but not far...

i gotta say this tip helped a lot i watched it once went to the range a few hours later and cracked it 250+ in a straight line every time with 100 balls this is a big deal to me because i sliced bad before today thank you so much
