did you style yourself after the women you would have previously been attracted to? like if you saw you while you were still a guy would you have been attracted to you?
also you are very pretty & you seem to have kept the parts about life you always enjoyed- always stay true to yourself! & now that we all welcome you into the kingdom of princesses... good luck with guys, they suck! (sorry!)
This has been a concern of mine. I identify as female, but I like girls. My interest in men has always been none to limited. I've had countless crushes and some relationships with women, but I've only had two crushes on men and that was it. I had crushes on them, but I didn't feel interested in pursuing them to become anything further than that, like I do with women.
I have read that estrogen increases sexual desire for men. Was this true in your experience?
Sexual identity or 'sexual orientation' is a no-go. The real thing is 'Gender identity.' Gender identity and the western invalid concept of 'sexual orientation' cannot co-exist. The concept of sexual orientation is made possible only by the negation of gender identity as a valid social identity, different from, and more important than one's 'sex identity' (male/female).
The western 'straight' identity is nothing but the traditional 'manhood' identity for men, wrongly redefined as 'heterosexual' by the politics of manhood. And the western 'gay' identity is nothing but the traditional/ non-western 'non-man' or 'third gender' identity, redefined as 'homosexual.' It's the politics of manhood in the west that is responsible for creating this confusion.
If you recognize gender identity as valid, and allow two gender identities to males -- 'man' and 'third gender', then, the entire idea of 'sexual orientation' becomes invalid and non-practical. As, now you have to define 'sexual orientation' in terms of at least, three different genders (but actually there are at least six different genders of humans).
It's preposterous to define a male first on the basis of sexual orientation as 'homosexual' without first defining his gender as 'man' or 'third gender'. Its even more preposterous to define one's gender, after first defining him on the basis of 'sexual preferences' and then later defining him as a 'man' or 'third gender.'
A man who likes men cannot be broken and isolated from other men, and be categorized instead with third genders that like men. Just like a third gender who likes women, cannot be categorized together with the men who like women (or who are wrongly identified as 'heterosexual', due to pressures of manhood), but must be categorized in the third gender category (today called 'LGBT' in the west).
you have helped me out sooo much so far, I was hoping you could explain to me if you have acted or thought differently due to the hormones? Also has your voice gotten less deep over the time on the medications? thanks!
I recently turned 40 and have struggled with gender identity issues for a long time. I live full-time as a male and except for teenage experimenting with Mom and sis's clothes, don't crossdress--but I have since puberty always sexually fantasized about myself as a female, and mostly imagine myself enjoying sex as a female with men(and sometimes women). Lately, I have become obsessed with pre-op ts's and imagine myself being one and enjoying sex with them, but outwardly I look and act like a guy.
I think I am an autogynephile. (Google it, if you don't know what it is) If I had the courage to transition, I think I would be like you, Jordan. I would want to be seen as a cute female and I'd be flattered by male attention, but as I present myself outwardly now as male, and that's also who I am, if I get any comments on me that could be perceived that as saying I am less than manly, the neurotic male insecure part of me gets very threatened. I'm confused! I also want to be a regular guy.
What I was trying to say is that if 35 years ago, I knew what I knew now, I would have followed your route, Jordan. But too many people have too much invested into who I am now. Just know, I've got a girl inside who will die in a man's body. Which, brings up a joke I used to hear and often repeat, "I'm a lesbian in a man's body."
i just want to say thank you so much for your videos ...you inspire me to be who i realy am ...and i identify so much with your story ...so thank again for all your help ...you are kind of my hero rightnow ...thank again for your videos ...i dont have any videos yet but soon ....thaks again ...lots a love....5xx

Nice Post! I been transitioning for 13 months + and I dont pass to well. this works well for me as I am into girls. The hardest thing for me is telling a girl about my sexuality... I get lots of questions about SRS. I dont plan on going that far - I just cant bring myself that far - I love what I am and who Ive become... I beleive its different for everyone. Thanks for keeping it Real Jordan!
Thank you so much for this video, and all your videos. It really helps others to see that they are not alone, and that their dream of realising their true gender can be made real.
@FirehawkPC Really glad i could help. That question plagued me for a long time. And i didn't even like boys before. Now i do but even still its not "gay". Let people know the difference girl.
@minorqback & @FirehawkPC On the sexuality thing, a number of years ago, I met this person who was gay. She was a lesbian, and not interested in men at all. We became friends and one thing led to another, and we almost kinda sorta became an item. We lost touch, and a few years later we reunited. Now he is a man with a boyfriend and has no interest in women. When I tell people about this, about 40% cannot wrap their head around it.
Wow, that got long. Sorry. Not sure where I was going...
Although you could say you went from a straight male to a straight female, couldn't you say that some people orientation stay the same to what they prefer? For example, wouldn't you say one could be attracted to females for ________ and _______ reason and after becoming female, one could still be attracted to those same blanks where as a male doesn't offer those blanks?
You have a great head on your shoulders..I wish I was this level headed when I was your age about being Trans.I have squandered way too much time but people like you give me faith in the future...Thank you!
@TheCheatingBastard I am a college grad and i know the stigma that Wiki anything has. This was not a college thesis about a historical happening or something finite. This was a socially relevant definition which is the definition of wiki-everything. Sorry but in this case, it is plenty fine.
@minorqback Jordan is playing Neil Young's album After The Goldrush. The song with the harmonica is Oh Lonesome Me. Love the album, and I love that you love it too. :) I always keep an ear open for Neil Young songs in your vids, haha!
@minorqback I just wanted to say there was something you forgot to precise : love :D I may sound naive, but I might consider myself as a straight guy (in the sens that I am not attracted by men at all) but I'm sure that love can transcends the sexual orientation. As an exemple I find you truely beautiful (I hope I am not disrespectful when I'm saying that, I'm truly saying that as a compliment) and I know that if I knew you and would be in love with you I would be really lucky to be with you :D
@evacuateyourbowels The song is Don't Let It Bring You Down by Neil Young, there is also a great cover by Annie Lenox heard on the masterpiece American Beauty :D

Great video jordan it was very helpful and i just wanted to say keep up the good work. And because of u i have been able to do something i never thought i would be able to well hopefully talk to u soon ty and You ROCK!!!!
Thanks for addressing this! Love your vids! I appreciate talking about socially relevant definitions, as sometimes defining things becomes totally irrelevant, or conflated with old/outdated definitions.
I believe that the variability of sexual orientation in the human species is a side effect of the high level of complexity in a highly evolved brain. At an early age, the inclination to develop one way or another is not set in concrete as it may be in simpler, more instinctively (geneticaly) hard wired brains.
I honestly don't get why people confuse gender with sex and sexual orientation. Can women be lesbians, then why can't a trans-woman? Can men be gay, then why can't a trans-man.

I'm not trans, and I know that sexual orientation has nothing to do with it but, if you were a gay male, does that mean you're now a straight female?
