ive been skatin the cult 8's for 3 months now, and to all you guys that are beginners and thinkin' of buying them...i say....do it !! they're great, the backslide groove is amazing, the soul plate is nice and fast, and to ''chewiebrothaman'' who's heard that the liners suck.....thats not tru, the liners are comfortable (:

Hey Tompman, my neighbor has some Cult 8's and they really kickass. If your going for a newer "style" or feel get the Cult 9's (i have some atm). They (cult 8/9's) are really good on rails so, i mean idk what to tell you. Its if you like them and they feel comfortable get em. All in all they one Kickass skate. GL man and HF
