I like how Sabin, Shadow and Umaro are all talking together/comparing muscles. I've always considered those three to be the "heavies" of the game. They are, at least, the first three characters who can deal 9999 damage in a single hit - excluding Ultima usage. Sabin being first with his Phantom Rush, Shadow and Umaro being not too far behind with their Pinwheel/Fuma Shuriken and Tackle/Throw abilities.

There's only one thing I never got about this game:

What's with the logo? That guy riding on a thing never appears in the game. The closest thing is maybe if Edgar were riding the beast that Hell's Rider or Dante rides, but that makes no sense.

awesome, at 1:20 you see the first espers Shiva and Isfrit, then Maduin. an anime of this FF title would definitely have my inner fan-girl screaming anew! especially the scene of Sabin, Cyan and Shadow fighting the Phantom Train. (just make sure it's not lameass by throwing a phoenix down at the train to demolish it.) :)

This is epic and should definately be made into a full anime series..... but being the giant FF6 nerd that I am... I did noticedone oh-so small tiny flaw in the opening... Umaro is on the first airship.. you don't meet him till AFTER the ship is destroyed.. As for Shadow being on the first airship, he is only on your first air ship once and its only for a few seconds after its decimated by the disrupting of the Statues..

Just had to get that out there.. Epic Video though!!

Okay. I just happened to find the gba remake of ff6 in a bin for 5 bucks(awesome huh?) but I am tired of using the default names. Ithought back to this video but I can't fully place who is who from it as an idea. I think I got a few. Names seem to need to be 6 characters or less btw. Locke=Edward Celes= Riza(I think it's Lisa due to how the r/l thing is in Japan but I could be wrong) Edgar=Roy Cyan= Bradley Setzer= Mae Hughes Realm= Hughes daughter? Sabin=? Strago=? Terra= Winry?

it all depends on when everyone played a version of final fantasy. some thinks that the 4 is the best one, while others like 7, 8 and even 9...

7, since it was so awaited when it was released, plus the revolution of the 3d thing... got marked of the best one.

personally, I like the 6 better... since it was my start with the world of rpg for consoles. :] plus, the atmosphere of the graphics + music, and storyline, gave something special to ff6.

The characters in 7 seemed a lot more bland, whereas in 6 they were full of personality. I'm trying to think of a counterpoint, but I suppose Cloud's mental breakdown is pretty much the high point in character emotions. Note I also played 7 before 6.

I guess so and yeah he did have a major breakdown there lol...well it was due to the materia system that didn't help with the characterizing but limit breaks helped with it. Urm There were some differences like Barret who was pretty funny to me and Cid. Urm Tifa was more upbeat at certain points but..yeha you dont see much change in all of them cept for cloud. as in 6 they all change in some way so...yeah

The unique thing about FF6 is how each and every character is so unique, and such an essential part of the story. Throughout the game they develop, and you come to know each and every one of them. Edgar, Sabin and their kingdom. Locke, Rachel and Celes. Terra and her other worldly origins... Strago and his ties to the ancient mages. Realm, Shadow and Interceptor... Cyan's wife and child, Setzer's lost love, and Gau's estranched father. All united in the end to stop Kefka, needed equally.

I don't know about anyone else but I enjoyed this video as both a Final Fantasy fan and an anime fan. It must have taken ages aged to do the first opening, but the animation was so smooth and that is very hard to do. Although the end was mad, but that is what things in Japan can be like.

Right, actual comment. Its a good video, obviously, it rips verbatim of a good intro, not that there's anything wrong with that since its a parody. Some of the bits that weren't based of the original seemed stiff, but what the hell, its not a bad job.

This video has also lodged in my head the idea of doing something similar with Final Fantasy V and the Gurren Lagann intro. Could look good.
