Nice TUT! Althougth I don't know much about VB, more about C++ and a little of C#(barely). I aslo get them from MSDN and legit too! :) For now I have to deal with C++, and C#, VB its more or less the same C#. I'm getting a new Laptop to run all these dandy cool new apps from Microsoft! I want to be a programer, but I'm not sure what expertise to choose... Or that I know any of those expertise...

you should invest time in learning C#, more games and application are program in C# . Microsoft will probably eliminate other language in the future probably something like what happen with C. we still use it but C++ is better then C and C# is better then C++.

In this version Microsoft also added a new language call F#.

Well, I have not had time to test all the features of VS, yet man! So I am reserving judgement for now.

But, It CRASHED when I tried to build a WPF thingy! Haha.

But from here, it looks really new, they also slightly changed the standard vs outlook finally and you are hanging about talking about the software :D and yeah It may so, it's just a new release and still beta, wait for new issues..... and you need a new computer as soon as possible haha

Haha! Hey! This computer is a Samsung NC20 netbook. I only got it this year for college *grins*

But, I understand what you are saying about the BETA thing, the final release will have a lot of bug fixes. Because I am at college, we have a deal with MSDN and get ALL the latest software. Like, I have VS 2005 & VS 2008 (free - serial included not a pirated copy)

And I generally use 2005 for programming. BUT - when WPF hits hard, I'll make the switch to 2010 or 2008.

Can I also suggest you get MSN Expression 2? I use it for all my WPF development. It's a good studio for developing for Wind blows.

I'm just waiting for the cross-os compiler from MSN where you can build software for Linux as well as XP...

well actually it must be expression studio 2 ? i've never heard of msn expresssion 2,if there iis someting like this,it will be great to get that but as I heard before, it was expression studio 2. well and I am not at college. I am working for a software company which they are creating enterprise scaled softwares. so I just wanted to see the new features quickly that's why I saw your video.

I'm training to become a Systems Analyst and hope to be working for a software company in roughly 5-7 years. I need to go to university first though after college...I am 31 tho so I may be past it by the time I get my degree!

Well,you had better be hurry up dude. It's getting late, actually it's not late for anything they say but the market actually wants more brisk developers and please change your laptop :) for better development environment. At least grap dual core processor and 4gb ram memory. The others are not that much important as long as your main board is capable of lifting them up.
